4 WHY USE RADIUS RV STYLE DUAL PANE WINDOWS? An ice house is not like a home as it is being towed down the road along with going on and off the lakes. Engineers know that where there is a 90 degree junction, stress and flex will often result in tearing or ripping at that point. In a properly designed radius joint, the stress is spread over a wider area and is less prone to rip or tear. This is a very important feature to Glacier as the square windows other manufacturers use may flex causing cold air, condensation and an increased amount of propane use with their houses. Over time, it could also cause water leakage. This is why RV manufactures also use a radius style window. 7
