Whether you re spraying on smooth, flat ground or over bumpy, uneven fields, New Holland S1000 sprayers deliver dependable, moneysaving accuracy. A model to match your needs Boom sizes from 80 to 134 feet wide, two tank sizes and a choice of boom type allow you to select the ideal model for your application needs. 3 Smart, durable design No matter which model you choose, the heavy 4-in. x 10-in. frame construction ensures exceptional load stability and durability over the long haul. Powder coated paint protects against corrosion and preserves a like-new finish. High-clearance suspension provides excellent crop clearance and stability. Both suspended-boom and wheeled-boom models fold from field to transport position from the tractor cab. Narrow transport width provides for safe road travel and convenient storage. High-performance plumbing An efficient S1000 tank design and user-friendly plumbing control eliminates hassles and leads to high spraying performance in the field. A convenient, waist-high central manifold simplifies plumbing control and operation for increased productivity, reliability and easier cleanout compared to previous models equipped with a plumbing tree. The manifold location on the hitch protects valves from damage. Flange-style sprayer coupler fittings are used for manifold and plumbing to allow for easy servicing. Both the polypropylene plumbing and the tank itself are sloped six degrees toward the front for quick, easy drainage when changing chemicals or winterizing. Chemicalresistant polypropylene material is used for plumbing throughout the sprayer. A large sight gauge is standard equipment to allow you to see tank levels at a glance. This gauge is plumbed to the bottom of the tank sump to provide improved tank level accuracy. A clean water nozzle is mounted to the top inside of the tank to assist tank cleanout. A three-inch bulk bottom fill valve option is available for customers that utilize threeinch pumps for faster tank filling. Built-in safety A separate 120-gallon clean water rinse tank located at the front of the main tank is standard equipment for your convenience and safety. In addition, a 3.2-gallon emergency hand and eye wash station is conveniently located near the plumbing manifold and main tank. Easy mixing accuracy The optional ground-level, 12-gallon induction tank allows for convenient, safe mixing and adding of all types of chemicals, including dry formulations, liquid formulations and water soluble paks. The lowprofile design makes it easy to reach, and a ball valve at the bottom of the tank allows for easy clean out and drainage. A screw lid with C-seal prevents dust buildup. The heavy-duty boom features a center pivot and parallel lift with an innovative suspension built in to handle the toughest field conditions (suspended boom model only). 3

4 Maximum spraying control Boom design and a choice of in-cab monitors provide reliable, accurate spraying. The heavy-duty boom construction of New Holland S1000 sprayers is designed to enhance both durability and spraying accuracy, even in bumpy, varied field conditions. Wheeled boom construction Wheeled models range from 80 to 134 feet wide, and feature rugged 5-inch x 5-inch construction with large-diameter boom wheels and heavy-duty hubs and spindles. Largebore, automotive-style shock absorbers on the boom wheels provide a smooth ride. You control the automatic folding feature right from the cab. Suspended boom models S1000 suspended boom models feature high-clearance suspension with a parallel link design to improve boom stability and spray accuracy, even when working across uneven fields. The hydraulic boom suspension utilizes accumulators to maintain cylinder position while absorbing the vertical shock encountered by the boom during field operation. The center boom section provides 18 to 70 inches of ground clearance, while each outer boom section moves 15 degrees upward and five degrees downward. A convenient, in-cab joystick provides control of boom lift, tilt, transport fold and optional foam marker. Boom protection An outer breakaway boom section 12-foot long on the wheeled boom models and eight-foot on suspended boom models protects against foreign objects in field. 4

5 Reduced drift Optional windscreens reduce drift by 86% compared to open-boom sprayers. They re available on all Wheel-boom sizes and suspended boom widths up to 100 feet. A perforated design offers excellent protection from the wind, yet allows enough air flow to increase turbulence within crop canopy to improve product coverage. End caps are standard with windscreens on suspended-boom sprayers. Touch-down wheels for boom ends or mid boom are optional. Two gauge wheels per wing are standard with windscreens and optional on models without. Adjustable wheel spacing Adjustable wheel spacing accommodates the narrow tire tracking widths that are useful for row-crop applications and allows you to match your sprayer to your tractor wheel spacing. Axles are infinitely adjustable between 60 and 120 inches center to center on the S1050, and 72 to 120 inches center to center on the S1070. A 90- to 144-inch axle is also available. Optional 15,000-, 24,000- and 40,000-pound axles are also available. A choice of monitors Both the seven-inch IntelliView III and 10.4-inch touch-screen IntelliView Plus II monitor feature easy-to-read color screens and allow you to quickly make on-the-go application rate changes and view readouts of speed, rate, area covered and volume of spray applied. Animated graphics and information pop-up windows provide you with immediate information. Both are ISO compliant making it compatible with other implements that offer similar compliance. The IntelliView Plus II monitor features a inch touch-screen display and is compact flash card compatible up to a recommended 1 GB (comes with standard 128 MB) allows you to transfer information in and out of monitor. The IntelliView III monitor has a 7-inch, color, touch-screen display and allows you to transfer information using a USB memory stick. 5

Four hydraulic pumps are offered from Hypro and Ace, including the Hypro 9303 HM1C, 9306 HM1C or 9603 HM3C and Ace FMC 206. All Hypro pumps feature an enhanced silicone carbide seal which will help when dry runs occur. A sprayer rinse wand allows for easy cleaning and rinsing of the sprayer no matter where you are operating. 6
