3 MORE PEOPLE, MORE PLANTS, MORE PLANTERS You have seen the research. Increasing plant populations can increase yields. Twin-Row technology can be an effective way to increase population. That s why Case IH has three new planter models for twin-row cropping. Case IH Twin-Row planters create precise, staggered rows 8 inches apart. This configuration can increase the effective growing area of plants up to 45% to help promote root growth, improve moisture utilization, increase light exposure, and help standability when planting higher populations in wider row spacings. VERSATILITY Three distinct models are available to best match your operation. (See complete specs starting on page 4-5). While they have some differences, all three planters share some distinct advantages: A The AFS Pro 700 control center is standard on all 4025, 1225, and 1625 planters. The same display works on Case IH combines, tractors and sprayers for compatibility across all these products. It monitors and controls the following and more: Application rate (manual or prescription) Split-air fan control Down pressure automatic adjustment Section overlap control Ground speed Acre counter Pop-up information windows provide immediate warnings and/or information Seed company bulk box 82 bu. B The Early Riser IV monitor (not shown), used on the 825 series Twin Row planters, provides a complete, self-contained monitor/control system that makes it easy to hook up these fully mounted planters to any tractor. A AFS Pro 700 Control Center C Rugged Frames with Quick Interchangeable Bulk Fill Systems C Strong rugged frames float through even the toughest terrains and have large fertilizer and bulk seed capacities. The Flexible bulk fill systems, depending on the configuration, allow you to quickly interchange 82 bu. or 150 bu. hoppers with seed company bulk containers in the field. D The Air-Pro Meter pressurized seed meter delivers accurate seed metering and seed placement through a 5.5 mph zero velocity drop, clear shot seed tube. E F The Case IH Twin-Row row unit raises the agronomic bar for conventional row units. Features like the leading edge disk, narrower cut seed trenches, unique closing options, and standard seed firmers lead the way in improving the agronomic performance of these planters. Heavy-duty down-pressure springs help penetrate hard soils and slice through crop residue with 500 pounds of penetration. Or select the Active Air Down Pressure system that provides up to 600 pounds of penetration and allows you to automatically increase or decrease up to 100 pounds of pressure on-the-go.
