It gives very useful information on film interface quality, crystallinity, oxidation state, etc... Applications: Evaluation of DLC coating film Surface roughness DLC hardened film Metal substrate 6 Å 6 Å Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) film, used as a protective coating for automotive frictional parts, was evaluated.
