2 OCTOER 2009 TECHNICAL INFORMATION Pedestals Overhead Storage DESCRIPTION Quality steel construction. For Linear, Radius and Economy series, the pedestal drawer suspension is as follows: ox drawers have 3/4 extension ball bearing slides. File drawers have full extension ball bearing slides. FF contains 2 file drawers, F contains 1 box drawer and 1 file drawer, F contains 2 box drawers and 1 file drawer. 1 pencil tray and 1 drawer divider is included with each unit containing a box drawer. Includes lock with 2 keys. Can be keyed alike to other metal storage components. Cannot be field converted into mobile units. Drawer configuration can be converted in the field. Interior drawer depth for radius pedestals is as follows: for 24 deep and for 30 deep. Interiors of drawer bodies are finished black. Levelers provide 1 height adjustment. Overhead storage comes in a variety of styles and materials. Styles include shelves, open overhead, closed overhead with flipper or hinged door and bi-direction overhead. Materials include metal and wood. Filing Storage Cabinet A variety of heights in 30, 36 and 42 widths available. Openings accommodate a variety of materials using opening at 13 5/16 or L opening at 11 3/16. Slots for letter, legal and A4 metric size material. receding opening accommodates ring binders and fixed front opening will accommodate 14 7/8 x 11 EDP binders. Receding doors slide into the cabinet. Pull-out shelves have a rolled front edge. Fixed drawers are flat for easy material retrieval. Locks are standard with removable cores. Single unit is stackable. All cabinets are of welded construction using 18 to 22 gauge cold rolled steel. Front corners are mig-welded and ground smooth where the case meets the top and bottom. Interiors are finished in black. Positive metal-to-metal interlocking system is integrated into each suspension for safety. File bars are black and pre-installed in drawers. Three stage, full progressive, ball bearing suspension. Epoxy powder coated 2 mm thick for durability. Drawer fronts come with double wall construction and full pulls. Drawer mechanism includes an anti-bounce-back device. All four leveling glides can be accessed from the interior of the cabinet. Ganging knockouts are provided. Changes to fixed or receding fronts are special order. Master key available. Interlocking mechnism allows only one drawer to open. Counterweight not included. In order to meet ANSI/IFMA X , Counterweight must be specified separately. All filing can be purchased in custom colors at no charge with the exception of whites and metallic colors. If a color sample has to be made, this could add to your delivery time, please check with your Customer Service Representative. Comes complete with adjustable non-slotted shelves.
