Power operated chairs are not available with side pockets when upholstered in vinyl, waterpoof fabrics or leather. INFLATABLE LUMBAR SUPPORTS Inflatable lumbar supports are available in most designs. Roll back or pillow back riser-recliner and recliner chairs can incorporate lumbar supports in both the middle and lower pillows. (Please specify when ordering.) REMOTE CONTROL LOOP If required, please enquire with your stockist when ordering for further information and costs. SEATING REQUIREMENTS We use only quality foams, designed for constant usage. If the seating is too firm, please enquire with your stockist for softer seat cushions or alternative foam seating. QUALITY BUILT IN Our hand built product ensures that you recieve your chair, knowing that great time and personal effort has gone into crafting each element. Stability tests ensure that every part is built to perfection. ACCESSORIES We have a great selection of matching accessories - removable arm protectors, adjustable headrests, scatter cushions * Additional fabric can also be supplied on request. * Scatter cushions may effect the action of our motion furniture and therefore should be used on static products. FABRICS, LEATHERS AND VINYLS Choose from a variety of velours, velvets, chenilles, leathers and vinyls. Velours, velvets and chenilles are very popular, but they are susceptible to creasing and pile crushing. Most chairs may be upholstered in a wide variety of specialists fabrics including vinyls, crib 5 fabrics, waterproof, breathable and anti-bacterial materials. 5 SAFETY FIRST SPRUNG LOADED FOOTREST For ease of use, our footrests move to position with our sensitive spring load mechanism, reducing the risk of accidental entrapment under the footrest. QUICK RELEASE HANDSETS This ensures no unauthorised movement of the power operated chairs by children. When detached the chair is inoperable. FREE-FALL BACK SYSTEM Royams fit their Free-Fall-Back System to all Dual Riser-Recliners. This system helps to prevent damage to motors and reclining action when accidentally reclined against any fixed object. Single Motor Battery Backup CASTORS Fitted to all recliners and riser-recliners as standard. These durable castors allow 360 degree movement of chair for cleaning purposes. (not for moving when person is sat on product). For your safety, the castors are fitted to the chair frame, so when the seat lift is operated, the chair will not move. Dual Motor Battery Backup BATTERY BACKUP For piece of mind all motors for power-operated chairs have an emergency battery(s) back-up which will operate the chair once from the reclined position to the seated position. The battery(s) must be connected on installation at users home. Batteries must be changed after emergency use and checked periodically. ADVANCED SAFETY SYSTEM Optional Extra, please specify when ordering HOW IT WORKS! The advanced system is designed to not allow your chair to be lowered when in the raised position unless someone is sitting in the chair. Large control buttons are easily identifiable so that the user knows which way the chair will operate. With all these control options at your fingertips. For ease of operation the large control buttons easily indicate the position to be achieved, back, footrest and lift. Buttons are colour-coded so that the universal colour for danger red is used for the button which lowers the chair from standing position. Pure comfort is only a touch away! Massage and Heat Therapy MASSAGE Relax and rest those tired and stiff muscles with the help of a massage system. This system allows you to massage 10 different areas of your body, either by a wave or pulse massage. With adjustable speed, intensity and positioning of massager to the chair zones you require or soothe the lumbar area with low or high heat. The benefits of a Mono (or single motor) Riserrecliner* is to allow the user to operate both the back and footrest at the same time. The Dual (or two motor) Riser-recliners* allow the user to operate the back and footrest independently. Both these actions are designed to permit greater movement and freedom. The hand control unit is totally safe and extremely easy to operate. KINGSIZE KINGSIZE Riser-recliner models can accommodate body weights of up to 20 stones (12 kilograms).
