3 Press Release No. 11/2017 Page 1/1 November / December 2017 Lightweight in large dimensions: The new AC3 lightweight forged rims in a limited edition from AC Schnitzer The wheels not only physically but also optically connect a car to the road. "That's why it's very important to have the right dimensions between the proportions of the rims to the bodywork," explains AC Schnitzer chief designer Michele Viandante. "Too small rims can make a vehicle look high-legged and unstable." The new Lightweight Forged Rims "AC3" from AC Schnitzer, on the other hand, are truly earthy. They are the absolute highlight in the AC Schnitzer wheel range. The AC3 Lightweight Forged Wheels - with partly polished and partly painted surfaces in Silver/Anthracite or Anthracite/Silver - achieve what appears to be fundamentally contradictory: reduction in weight on the one hand and the largest possible wheel diameters and widths on the other. The AC Schnitzer engineers and designers implement this apparent contradiction with the AC3 Lightweight Forged Rim: the design is completely independent - although the relationship to the successful Type V rim is unmistakable - and it is now available in the dimensions 9.0J x 20" offset 25 and 10.0J x 20" offset 33. The weight of the front axle rim is only 10.1 kg - the weight of the rear axle rim is sporty 11.2 kg. High-quality lightweight forged wheels save up to 25-35% in weight compared to conventional cast wheels. This reduces the gyroscopic forces on the axles and noticeably improves the vehicle's cornering handling. AC Schnitzer already gave the one-piece Lightweight Forged Rims AC3 extremely sporty genes in their design and these manifest themselves in their outer appearance: the central element is the filigree yet massive spoke matrix with its five triangular struts. The strong concave centre, to which the spokes seem to rush, underlines the uncompromisingly dynamic impression. A stainless steel sticker also indicates the rarity value of each AC3 Lightweight Forged Rim: "One of 300 LIMITED EDITION". So anyone who has one can really consider himself lucky. 4 Press Release No. 12/2017 Page 1/1 November / December 2017 Beyond the M-Standard: Lighter, faster, more sporting With the M2 by AC Schnitzer, the tuning experts from Aachen again show that improvements are always possible You expect nothing less from the AC Schnitzer tuning experts: Even where it seems that no further improvement can be expected, they repeatedly set new standards in the field of BMW tuning. This is demonstrated afresh by the BMW M2, which rolls out onto the road as the M2 by AC Schnitzer with even more lightness, sporting performance and dynamics. The performance upgrade to 420 from 370 HP is further supported by the optional AC Schnitzer intercooler which increases the efficiency of the engine for maximum motorsport feeling and provides a sustained, smooth power delivery. The pulsating energy below the bonnet is documented by the AC Schnitzer engine optics. As usual with all AC Schnitzer performance upgrades, a country-specific warranty up to 5 years is included in the scope of supply of the performance upgrade for the BMW M2. In the exhaust system, the BMW tuners from Aachen again add "a little something". The AC Schnitzer silencer with valve control, complete with two "Sport" or "Sport black" tailpipes in right/left combination (also in the export version) provides the striking, sonorous sound of a professional athlete. The "Sport" and "Sport black" tailpipe trims are also available individually. The extraordinary driving experience from a BMW M vehicle is taken to an even higher level by AC Schnitzer with its in-house RS coilovers for the BMW M2. Fully height-adjustable, with compression and rebound setting and lowering by mm, the system is designed for both relaxed cruising and for fast cornering and sprints. Together with the AC Schnitzer front splitter and rear roof spoiler, they provide perceptibly more downforce and maximum stability at high speeds. The AC Schnitzer rear skirt protection film serves to protect the boot loading edge and of course document the provenance of the targeted measures ensuring even more driving pleasure. In the interior, the Aachen-based tuner sets new design accents with the AC Schnitzer aluminium pedal set, aluminium foot rest, Keyholder, handbrake handle and an aluminium gear knob. The AC Schnitzer aluminium cover for the BMW-specific i-drive Controller completes the interior concept. With 19 and 20 inch wheels developed in-house by AC Schnitzer fitted with the right tyre mix, the M2 by AC Schnitzer creates the best conditions for the perfect transfer of motorsport feeling to the road. Especially with the newly developed AC3 lightweight forged rim in 20". But also with the AC1 rims or AC1 forged alloys in BiColor or matt anthracite, and Type VIII and Type V (BiColor or anthracite) forged alloys, are also available for enthusiastic drivers and lovers of fine design. 7 Press Release No. 13/2017 Page 1/2 November / December 2017 Pushing the Boundaries on the Road Business Vehicles with a Strong Sporting Pedigree: The BMW 5-series Business Saloon (G30) and Touring (G31) by AC Schnitzer set New Standards The 5-series saloon by BMW had only just been launched when the starting shot for the tuning specialists at AC Schnitzer to set new standards for the BMW business class has been fired, raising the bar even higher. To implement innovations which know no boundaries this was the aim for the engineers at AC Schnitzer developing the performance upgrades of the 5-series saloon (G30) and Touring (G31), both of which come with a country specific warranty up to 5 years. When it comes to dynamics, AC Schnitzer pushes the boundaries: for the BMW 540i, this means a power upgrade from 340 to 400 hp. The BMW 530d in the AC Schnitzer version develops 315 instead of 265 horsepower. Similar boundary shifts for the M550i, BMW 530i and BMW 520d are in preparation. The engine performance already developed by AC Schnitzer however suggests that here too, further astonishing gains in performance can be expected. And AC Schnitzer engine optics is already available for all models. When it comes to the exhaust, for all petrol-engined models AC Schnitzer will be offering stainless steel silencers with exhaust flap each side with two chromed or black "Sport" tailpipes. Furthermore the new chromed or black "Quad Sport" tailpipes in right/left combination are available for the 5 series. The AC Schnitzer sound module (for export only) with remote control allows drivers of all models to enjoy the sound track to the motorsport feeling. 5-series Touring drivers will have to be patient a little longer before they too can enjoy the symphony of sound from their vehicle. For all models, the AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit is available immediately. This lowers the vehicle by around mm at the front and around mm at the rear compared with the standard vehicle, while sensitively ironing out unevenness in the road. Unbounded sporting driving pleasure is further supported by the aerodynamic components which are an essential feature of all AC Schnitzer vehicles. All models benefit from the character and looks of a high-performance athlete thanks to the AC Schnitzer carbon mirror covers and AC Schnitzer rear skirt protection foil. Vehicles with M-Technik pack can set the boundaries of motorsport aesthetics even higher with the AC Schnitzer front spoiler elements (optionally made of carbon) and the AC front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser. Saloon drivers can enjoy a top class racing look with the AC Schnitzer rear roof spoiler and rear spoiler. Alternatively, a carbon "Racing" rear wing is also available for the sedan (for export only). For the Touring, there is also the rear roof wing which both provides additional downforce and reduces drag....

11 Press Release No. 14/2017 Page 1/2 November / December years beyond the standard AC Schnitzer celebrates a special anniversary with the limited edition ACL2S special tuning range for the BMW M240i (Coupé and Convertible) In 2017, AC Schnitzer is celebrating 30 years beyond the standard with a very special tuning range: the AC Schnitzer ACL2S conversion is an extensive range covering all areas of the vehicle for the BMW M240i (Coupe and Convertible). To celebrate this anniversary, a limited edition of just 30 sets of the high-quality base conversion kit has been produced, and will be available in Aachen and from selected partners only. Fullyfledged AC Schnitzer tuning fans will have to decide quickly if they want one of the 30 ACL2S. The ACL2S basic conversion includes a performance upgrade for the Munich car with motorsport heritage, taking it from 250 kw/340 hp/500 Nm to a generous 294 kw/400 hp and 600 Nm. The silencer system made of V2A stainless steel with exhaust flap, connecting pipe and sound pipe (including two "Quad Sport" tailpipe trims) also pays tribute to the 30-year anniversary of the Aachen-based tuning specialists by giving the ACL2S its voice. AC Schnitzer has been offering special accessories and conversions without the compromises of large-series products for BMW, MINI, LAND ROVER and Jaguar for three decades. The same applies in the suspension sector: the ACL2S conversion includes fully RS adjustable suspension (adjustable in height and in compression and rebound) which bring the BMW M240i lower to the asphalt by approx mm at the front and approx mm at the rear. The aerodynamic package combines sophisticated tailor-made components with the highest standards of perfection: the ten-piece "ACL2S" widening kit ensures an impressive 80 mm wider look at front and rear. Carbon front spoiler elements and front splitter, in conjunction with the carbon front side wings, side skirt kit (also with carbon wings) mean that dynamic and exclusive driving pleasure sits harmoniously alongside unrestricted suitability for everyday use. The rear roof spoiler and carbon rear spoiler are designed for improved downforce, and in combination with the two-piece carbon rear side wings give the M240i an even more sporting touch. In the lower rear region, the exhaust system not only integrates smoothly into the body but the suction effect of the carbon rear diffusor fitted there provides even more downforce. Nor is the resulting top performance concealed visually the carbon mirror covers, rear skirt film and the set of ACL2S logos for the sides and rear quite clearly celebrate the 30th birthday of the Aachen-based tuning company....

12 Press Release No. 14/2017 Page 1/2 November / December 2017 AC Schnitzer remains true to its company philosophy "Beyond the Standard" in the interior too, and as well as a 3-spoke Sport multifunction leather steering wheel (additional option) with coloured indicator and stitching, also offers a painted 5-piece interior trim kit with ACL2S logo. An aluminium handbrake handle (black anodized), aluminium pedal set and aluminium footrest (both matt anodized), and velours floor mats naturally also belong in the Anniversary model. Not least, the stainless steel badge reading "ONE OF THIRTY" with laser-engraved text and ACL2S logo shows that here an extremely rare AC Schnitzer vehicle is on the road. As a wheelset for the ACL2S, AC Schnitzer has selected the AC1 Alloys Wheels in BiColor Black/Silver in 19" which - thanks to the wider wheelarches - can now be fitted in 8.5J x 19" with 235/35 R 19 tyres on the front, and 9.5J x 19" with 265/30 R 19 on the rear. The entire ACL2S basic conversion kit has been homologated. Inclusive of all components, fitting, registration and 19% VAT, the conversion comes in at 35,900. But the AC Schnitzer engineers would not have become the most successful BMW tuners if they couldn't add that extra something to this exceptional tuning package. Extra options include the instrument cluster with speedo up to 300 km/h, and a control display to show e.g. oil temperature, intake air temperature or boost pressure, and give the anniversary model a finishing touch. Clubsport coilovers including support bearings, a limited slip blade differential (25-40 % limiting) and a wheelset with Lightweight Forged Wheels Type VIII BiColor in 19" with standard tyres or Michelin Cup 2 tyres, make the ACL2S into something quite unique. And if you wish, the wheels can be painted in 1 or 2 colours. Bonnet vents are available to provide ventilation for the engine bay. Leather finish for the interior and the seats is also available. And if that's not enough, the front splitter is also available in a long version and the carbon "Racing" rear wing with or without gurney flap - in a high variant. Both come licensed for track use and perfectly illustrate AC Schnitzer's motto "From motorsport to the road!". This motto will continue to guide AC Schnitzer's work for the next 30 years, and provide customers with many more moments of exclusive driving pleasure beyond the standard. Copies free of charge!
