3 BIOGRAPHIES HRH Prince Michael of Kent (KCVO & GCVO) A keen and knowledgeable car enthusiast Prince Michael also supports a large number of different charities and organisations, including acting as the Commonwealth President of the Royal Life Saving Society and patron of Roadsafe. His Royal Highness' other patronages include the RAC Foundation, The Brooklands Museum Trust, The Harefield Research Foundation, the Children s Fire and Burns Trust and the SSAFA Forces Help. In 1999 Prince Michael was part of a team that set a new 1,000 mile speed record for cars over 5000cc in a 1929 Bentley Special. Mr Johann Rupert The Chairman of Richemont International has participated in a number of Mille Miglias. He is also the owner of The Franschhoek Motor Museum which hosts a wide variety of classic cars with a special emphasis on Alpha Romeos, Maseratis, Ferraris and Mercedes-Benz. Mr Nick Mason Drummer of Pink Floyd and the only constant member of the band since its formation in 1964, Mr Mason s favourite hobby away from music is auto racing. He owns and races several classic cars, and has competed successfully at the 24 hours of Le Mans. His collection has been a subject of his 1998 book, Into the Red in which he documents his experiences with his cars. Mr Mason was invited by Ferrari to purchase one of their 400 Enzos, but says his favourite car of all time is the Ferrari 250 GTO, and owns one of the 36 built. The Earl of March & Kinrara Heir apparent of the 10th Duke of Richmond, 10th Duke of Lennox and 5th Duke of Gordon, Lord March manages the family seat, the Goodwood estate and has continued the horseracing tradition of "Glorious Goodwood", one of the highlights of the flat racing season in England. As a passionate motor racing enthusiast he created the "Goodwood Festival of Speed" in 1993 and "The Goodwood Revival" in 1998, which are now renowned annual events.

4 Mr Don McCullin CBE One of the world s greatest photojournalists, particularly recognised for his war photography and images of urban strife, Mr McCullin received the World Press Photo Award in 1964 for his coverage of the war in Cyprus. In the same year he was awarded the Warsaw Gold Medal followed by a CBE in 1993, the first photojournalist to receive the honour. In later years, Mr McCullin has turned to landscape and still-life works as well as taking commissioned portraits. Mr Imran Khan Known as one of the finest all-rounders in the modern history of cricket with a record of 3807 runs and 362 wickets in Test cricket, Mr Khan played for the Pakistani cricket team from 1971 to 1992, and led them as captain to his country's first World Cup victory. In 1996 he founded the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Movement for Justice), of which he is chairman as well as sole elected member of Parliament. Mr Khan also focuses his efforts on social work, as founder of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust. Mr Olivier Martinez Following studies at the prestigious CNSAD in Paris, Mr Martinez began his acting career in his native France in 1990 where he rapidly achieved success. In 1994, he won a César Award as "Most Promising Actor" for his role in Un, Deux, Trois, Soleil (1993). He then came to mainstream attention in Hollywood with his performance opposite Richard Gere and Diane Lane in Unfaithful (2002) and has since had many starring roles. Mr James Lindsay James Lindsay is a long time car enthusiast. Son of the late great Hon. Patrick Lindsay, James remembers being taken to school by his father in a 1932 Rolls- Royce Phantom 11, with an open tourer Barker body. This car had been given to his father by the Maharaja of Jaipur as a wedding present, which Patrick subsequently drove back to the UK via Afghanistan in Mr Lindsay has been racing all over the UK and Europe since 1986 in cars such as his 1933 Alfa Romeo Monza, 1956 Maserati 250 S, 1964 Porsche 904 and AC Cobra.

5 Mr Mark Stewart The younger son of three times World Champion racing driver Sir Jackie Stewart, Mark Stewart founded his television production company, Mark Stewart Productions (MSP) in 1994, after an initial career in sports marketing and TV production at IMG. Mr Stewart s role as executive producer for MSP covers a wide spectrum of projects, including television commercials and blue-chip corporate films as well as critically acclaimed and award-winning broadcast documentaries. He is currently producing a documentary about the life of Jim Clark and a history of Rolls-Royce in India, both projects for the BBC. Mr Simon Kidston Simon Kidston started his career in 1988 at Coys in London and in 1996 left to cofound Brooks (now Bonhams) Europe in Geneva. For a decade he was responsible for staging successful sales such as the annual Les Grandes Marques à Monaco event and creating the Ferrari auction in Gstaad, Switzerland. Mr Kidston is the nephew of 1920 s aviation record breaker and Bentley Boy Commander Glen Kidston. One of his father s last motoring acquisitions, a 1973 Porsche Carrera RS, is still in Simon s cherished possession and he enjoys historic events at the wheel of his Lamborghini Miura SV and Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. He has judged at the famed Pebble Beach Concours d Elegance for several years and is the official presenter of the Mille Miglia, the Villa d Este Concours and the Milano San Remo historic rally. The Hon. Sir Michael Kadoorie One of the world s foremost tycoons and philanthropists, Sir Michael Kadoorie is the Chairman of CLP Holdings which his family founded in 1890, as well as the The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, owners and operators of the world-renowned Peninsula Hotel Group. A trustee of the Kadoorie Charitable Foundation, Sir Michael was made an Officer of the Legion of Honor by the government of France and a Commander of the Order of Léopold II of Belgium. He was awarded a knighthood, as a Knight Bachelor, in the Queen's Birthday Honours List on 11th June A fan of classic cars, he is the owner of a number of rare automobiles including a Type 57 Bugatti, a 1932 Phantom II Thrupp & Maberly, a 1934 Hispano-Suiza J12 Van Vooren Cabriolet, a 1969 P400 S Miura Lamborghini and a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost.

6 Professor Peter Stevens Twice nominated as the UK s Prince Philip Designer of the Year, Peter Stevens is one of the UK s best-known and most sought-after international transportation and product designers. He has won numerous honours for his work which includes creating road and race cars for McLaren, Lamborghini, BMW, Lotus, Prodrive, TWR, among others. Professor Steven s designs are specialist, bespoke vehicles, others are created for mass production, and sell in their thousands. His well known designs include the McLaren F1 road car, the 1999 Le Mans-winning BMW, the Lotus Elan, the Lotus Esprit revision, Jaguar s XJR-15, and the Subaru Impreza P1 road car as well as the world rally series-winning Subaru Impreza WRCs. Professor Gordon Murray A renowned designer of Formula One race cars and the famous McLaren F1 'supercar' road car, Gordon Murray started his career at Brabham and was appointed Chief Designer by Bernie Ecclestone. There he designed many Grand Prix cars and World Championship winners. These designs include the BT46B, also known as the Brabham fan car as well as the BT49 and BT52. From Professor Murray headed up the off-shoot McLaren Cars team to design road-going supercars: the McLaren F1 and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. In July 2007 the Gordon Murray Design consultancy was established, and released initial details regarding its upcoming T25 (Type 25) prototype city car car along with mention of a future lightweight, economical supercar project. Ms Monica Bellucci The Italian actress and model s film career began in the early 1990s. In 1992 she made her first appearance in a major English-language film as one of Dracula's brides in Bram Stoker's Dracula. Ms Bellucci became known and popular with worldwide audiences following her roles in Malèna, Brotherhood of the Wolf and Irréversible, though is perhaps best known for her role as Persephone in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions followed by her portrayal of Mary Magdelene in The Passion of the Christ.

7 Mr Vincent Cassel The French actor s breakthrough role was in Mathieu Kassovitz's critically acclaimed film La Haine where he played a troubled youth from the decrepit outskirts of Paris. Cassel has gone on to act in a variety of films such as the moody L'Appartement, the violent Dobermann, genre-bending Le Pacte des Loups, the highly controversial Irréversible and more recently Les promesses de l ombre. Eclectic role choices and talent have made of him a star of European cinema. M A S T E R O F C E R E M O N I E S Mr Alain de Cadenet Has made his reputation building and driving his own sports prototypes, taking on the full works factory teams and, at times, even beating them. In 1976 he finished 3rd overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and in 1980, he won two rounds of the World Sportscar Championship at the Monza 1000 kilometers and Silverstone 6 hour events, with co-driver Desiré Wilson. Mr de Cadenet is also one of the most respected and accomplished racers of classic and vintage cars. He has owned and raced some truly important machines, particularly Alfa Romeos, and is a TV personality for the SPEED Channel and ESPN hosting Legends of Motorsport, as well as the network's coverage of the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
