In the colunias headed "Technical Assistance" in Official Records No. 16), information is given as to the amounts (expressed in US dollars and shown in parenthesis) which governments expect to contribute towards the costs of implementation of WHO-assisted projects in their own countries, as reported to WHO at the time the estimates were prepared. 1 2 Ф As additional information has since been received the Director-General submits, as Appendix 6 山 a statement showing the amounts of the estimated contributions now reported, compared with the total estimated costs of the planned WHO-assisted projects in each country as presented in Official Records No. 1бЗ# The total amounts of these contributions are as follows: 1967 i Africa 16 2) З The Americas 刃 杯 South-East Asia ) Europe Eastern Mediterranean )1 798 Western Pacific Total Information as to the amounts of the contribution of the governments concerned is still lacking in respect of four countries or territories in the African Region, eight in the Americas, one in South-East Asia, eighteen in Europe, four in the Eastern Mediterranean and one in the Western Pacific The number of countries and territories in respect of which information has been receired is 115 or 76#l6 per cent, of the total number of countries in which WHO-assisted projects are being or are planned to be implemented in 1967, 1968 and 1 To 20 December 1967.
