5 Transportation Transportation For vehicles that carry goods safely for longer distances higher than average industrial tyre speed. Unpaved ground: the surface consists mainly of a wet, compressed, uneven ground with some bumps (i.e. skreed, stones, gravel, rocks). Paved ground: the surface consists mainly of paved asphalt. The ground is of good quality with few bumps and cracks. Smooth hall floors: the surface is a smooth, compressed concrete, usually undercover so kept dry. Special information: the load capacity and therefore the size of the tyre will be selected and approved by the vehicle manufacturer. Changes are possible only as far as a manufacturer released option. This brochure refers to the choice of tyre type (pneumatic and solid-tyres) and the profile. It should be noted that the conversion from pneumatic to solid tyres will improve stability.
