3 SIMPLE ELEGANCE The JELD-WEN IWP Exterior Folding Door System is a new concept in patio doors. It combines the style, customization and elegance of a classic French door, with the updated benefits and features of a sliding door. The IWP folding door system operates accordion style - each door section slides on an overhead track and folds up neatly against one another to allow for full access to the indoors or outdoors. With a maximum width of up to 36 feet (doors opening from the center with a properly engineered header) and available heights of up to 8 feet, the IWP folding door system provides tremendous light and outdoor viewing opportunities, even when closed. Whether you have a traditional or contemporary style home, IWP offers a folding door style to match any home architecture. 5 LET THE OUTSIDE IN The IWP Exterior Folding Door System has been designed to keep the worst weather at bay. The doors are fixed through the head directly into the lintel, which holds the doors and mechanism in place. The free-flowing doors are hung on pre-fitted wheeled carrier sets, allowing for smooth operation. The doors simply slide and fold against each other into the corner of the frame and are available in several folding configurations, depending on the opening width, of 3, 4, 5 and 6 leaf. The IWP Folding Door System is available with both hardwood and JELD-WEN's award-winning IWP Aurora TM Custom Fiberglass doors. It is virtually impossible to tell IWP Aurora doors from a real wood door, yet because these doors are made from fiberglass, they are exceptionally low maintenance. Both wood and fiberglass options are available in a wide variety of styles and finishes. IWP Custom Fiberglass Aurora doors, engineered to withstand extreme weather while looking like real wood are offered in a choice of four woodgrains - clear and knotty alder, oak and mahogany. Each woodgrain is offered in a variety of prefinished colors.
