The customer will need to contact the trailer manufacturer for information as to the download. Nissan is not able to make any recommendation on the use or suitability of load-levelling or weight distribution devices to be fitted to the vehicle. For nearly half a century, it has proved time and time again that it has the toughness, integrity and reliability to survive in this inhospitable environment. 4 The Nissan Patrol is all about taking the rough with the smooth. Turn off the beaten track and you can shift directly from 2WD to 4WD on the move. The locking front hubs (ST & Ti models only) engage automatically. In addition, a dual-range transfer gearbox gives the driver the further option of easily selected high or low range ratios. Low ratio is designed to cope with more demanding terrain and keeps you in control of your Patrol. A big contributor to the handling of the Patrol is the heavy duty coil all-terrain suspension springs, which provides superior durability and ride comfort on any surface. There are telescopic shock absorbers front and rear, as well as a stabiliser bar for improved cornering. ST and Ti models come with a gravel sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) that actually detects what sort of surface the Patrol is travelling on and automatically adjusts itself to best handle the situation. This feature comes standard on the ST and Ti models. What s more, the construction of the Patrol greatly influences the enjoyment of the ride. The all-steel body on a strong separate ladder chassis helps keep occupants very comfortable as well as safe. ST Petrol in Platinum. Tough, rugged and powerful. The 4.8 litre engine gives you all the power you re ever likely to need and offers a massive 3,500kg braked towing capacity. The standard 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode gives you effortless high speed cruising in automatic mode while travelling the highways. Or take full advantage of the engine s power with the manual mode when you re off-road or towing. The Patrol is also available with the gutsy 3.0 litre common-rail engine. This powerful engine offers great torque which will give you an impressive 3,200kg braked towing capacity on manual models. Patrol s common-rail fuel delivery system offers a number of benefits.
