3 DRIVER LIFE SAVING TECHNOLOGY CONFIDENCE Colt Cabriolet is designed to inspire driver confidence. Safety comes standard, not as an expensive option, incorporating advanced passive safety features like Mitsubishi s RISE body technology. Also standard are front and side driver and passenger SRS airbags; ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution); and a collapsible steering column. On the turbo model, Active Stability Control and Active Traction Control give you reassurance when the roads are slippery or you encounter tricky situations. ABS WITH EBD The ABS adjusts the braking pressure to prevent the wheels locking up under emergency or hard braking conditions. This means that you can steer safely around obstacles, whilst braking heavily. The EBD system works with the ABS computer to evenly modulate braking force between front and rear wheels to provide reduced stopping distances. SIDE AIRBAGS Seat-mounted side airbags reduce the risk of side impact. FRONT SRS AIRBAGS SRS (Supplementary Restraint System) airbags protect the driver and front-seat passenger in the event of a frontal collision. INTERIOR SLIP INTO LUXURY The stylish curves of the Colt Cabriolet s Pininfarina-designed exterior extend to its streamlined interior. The luxury cabin features a 6-speaker, MP3-compatible audio system with steering wheel controls; power windows; a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshift; air conditioning; and remote door locking.
