2 Stand¹ The Dynaudio Stand¹ was conceived as a slim profile, high value solution for any quality compact monitor, offering a solid and stable foundation that will allow the speakers an excellent platform to achieve a more optimized performance as compared to conventional stand designs. Available in Silver or Black, the Stand¹ utilizes a one-layer metal top plate and a single oval aluminum column that can be filled with sand or lead shot for additional mass attached to a threelayer base plate using the same sandwich construction of the plates in the Stand 4 model to reduce resonance and offer additional damping. The base plate of the Stand¹ conceals four height-adjustable spikes to allow precise leveling and added stability on a wide range of floors, while the top plate features the provision for the optional four-cone spike assembly as well. More importantly, the base plate and center column of the Stand¹ also feature an intelligent cable management provision. The speaker wire is run up from below the base plate assembly through a channel in the column, yielding a very clean appearance and an elegant visual presentation that keeps the cables hidden. 3 Stand 3 Dynaudio Loudspeaker Accessories Insert 1 2 The Dynaudio Stand³ perfectly complements small and medium-sized modern compact loudspeaker designs. The slightly tilted elliptical profile post offers the Stand³ a modern, dynamic shape. The high-quality lacquer finish in High-gloss White or Black ideally elegantly complements any interior. Either hue matches perfectly with the Dynaudio Focus 110 and 110 A and Excite X12 loudspeakers, especially when these models are finished in the respective lacquer variants. The Stand³ may of course also be utilized with a wide range of compact loudspeaker offerings. The speaker is positioned on the Stand³ top plate either directly or atop spikes (1). The base plate itself is also fitted with spikes, which are adjustable in order to achieve a perfect foundation for the loudspeaker even on unlevel floors. Each spike can be adjusted easily from the top side via an integrated bolt. By fastening the corresponding nuts, the position can be fixed (2). The Stand³ cable management system neatly conceals the speaker cable, as it is routed through the base plate (3) up through a separate channel of the post (1). 4 Stand 4 The Dynaudio Stand 4 was specifically developed to enable maximum performance from any high quality compact loudspeaker design. The elegant lines and attractive design of the Stand 4 offer a much more stylistic approach versus conventional loudspeaker stand constructions. The Stand 4 utilizes a unique three-layer sandwich construction in the top and base plates. A special layer of damping material fitted between the steel top and base tiers of the plates serves to reduce resonance, allowing the speakers to reach their maximum performance capabilities. The base plate conceals four height-adjustable spike assemblies that allow precise leveling while providing perfect stability on avariety of floor surfaces. The top plate features a provision for the optional four-cone spike assembly which is recommended by Dynaudio to achieve the highest performance quality from the speakers by further isolating from resonance while offering a firm platform. The intelligent cable management system allows the speaker wire to be run up from below the base plate assembly through the column to yield a very clean and more elegant visual presentation by keeping the cables hidden from view. The columns can both be filled with sand or lead shot to easily add mass and weight to the assembly, thus providing additional stability and resonance damping. 5 Center Base The center channel is not to be considered an effects speaker; it is essentially as vital as the mains in any quality system. As the performance is undoubtedly influenced by the placement, it is important to direct the sound radiation properly into the room. It incorporates a massive, 40 mm thick plinth that also integrates an intelligently conceived aluminium adjustment mechanism that allows one to precisely set any dispersion angle of the speaker cabinet as a whole either upwards or downwards anywhere between 10 degrees in either direction.
