2 Better Aesthetic Looking New sleek design of the SLM8 provides better aesthetic to present an exclusive outlook Well designed keypad for user comfort The keys are well designed with bigger buttons for better user experience Turbo and Quiet Function (To be activated at site) The SLM 8 is now designed with the Turbo and Quiet Function for additional fan speed control Note: 1. Only applicable to certain product range with Turbo and Quiet function 2. Turbo and Quiet function need to be activated at installation site by changing the jumper setting of SLM8. 3. 3 Comprehensive Error Code Display SLM 8 is capable of displaying error codes for a wide range of MQuay Unitary Products for easy troubleshooting Note: 1. Only applicable to selected product range. 2. Kindly refer to Operating Manual for more information. Compatibility with Wireless Remote Controller The availability of the Infra-Red Receiver in SLM 8 enables user to use wireless remote controller to change settings at user s convenience. Note: 1. Compatible Wireless Remote Controller: G11, G17, GS01 10 meter wire length The SLM 8 comes standard with a 10 meter wire for longer installation requirement at site. Maximum wire length for installation is 15 meter. Temperature Unit Setting ( C (Celsius) / F (Fahrenheit)) SLM 8 is capable of displaying temperature in either C or F by pressing both Temperature Up and Down button simultaneously. Allowable Temperature Range Setting (16 C - 30 C / 20 C - 30 C) SLM 8 is designed with allowable temperature setting of between 16 C and 30 C as standard. Should an application requires an allowable temperature setting of between 20 C and 30 C, it can be easily done through the jumper setting in the SLM 8. Room Temperature Sensor Depending on design application, the SLM 8 has a temperature sensor which can be used to detect the room temperature at SLM 8 installation site by the controller. However, the room temperature will not be displayed on SLM

4 Key Lock To prevent the settings of the wired controller being changed by users, SLM 8 comes with a key lock feature. 7 days Programmable Timer SLM 8 is designed with the 7 days programmable timer, which enables the unit be switched ON / OFF automatically according to user desired setting. Delay Timer Delay Timer enables user to select a pre-set delay of 1 hour or 2 hours to switch OFF the unit. Compatible Models SLM 8 can be used with McQuay Unitary Products which are currently compatible with Netware 3, Netware 3C or SLM
