GINETTAWELCOME In the last six years we have taken an historic British marque from its nostalgic roots in the 60 s - 70 s and turned it into what is today a formidable player on the World Motorsport

With over a decade of successful racing all over the world winning Le Mans GT2 class in 2006 and a solid background in engineering, I like to do things right. I believe few people are better placed to fully understand the purist love of driving and so I set the bar very high for Ginetta. These high standards are all evident in our new sports car, the G60. The G60 is rare by any standards; with production numbers strictly limited to 50 each year, but rarer still is a modern British car company who have purposely engineered-out any and all superfluous electronic gadgetry. Designed and built in Britain, the carbon fibre G60 is built by the same impassioned team who build our world beating race cars; indeed it shares the same 3.7 litre engine as its G55 GT3 racing stable-mate. Selfish and unremitting in the pursuit of the perfect driving experience the standard of the race-tech engineering speaks for itself; a very real sense of handling and performance only honest engineering can deliver, something all red-blooded driving enthusiasts crave, strike that need. In recent history Ginetta have designed and built each of its models from a blank sheet of paper, but when Lawrence discovered the Farbio project was in need of investment, he simply couldn t let such a beautiful car go to the wall. In 2010 he stepped in and moved the production from the small Bath facility to Ginetta HQ where he set about evaluating the project, initially branding the existing cars with the moniker F400. Whilst the F400 was without question a beautiful car with stacks of potential, existing cars had something of a mercurial nature with individual examples exhibiting very different characteristics from their siblings, each more prototype than production-ready. Adhering to his stead-fast belief that the proposition to each and every customer must be right Lawrence made the decision to halt F400 production and start again from the beginning. The beautiful lines of the G60 bodywork may mirror its predecessor, however under the much-admired carbon fibre exterior lurks a very different machine. Exclusive and genuinely rare, only 50 of these breath-taking cars will be produced each year for global distribution so don t expect to see one parked in your neighbour s drive any time soon. Worthy of its G badge, the new Ginetta G60 is born.

7 The only remaining legacy is the stunning exterior shape. The G60 s carbon fibre shell is laid up in-house by experts in Ginetta s purpose built carbon shop, adding improvements to aerodynamics including carbon fibre cooling vents and a revised splitter. Despite its lightweight, performance based, roots the interior comfort has not been compromised. Designed around the driver the cabin features your choice of leather or a soft, lightweight upholstery, the central console and door cards display the G60 s construction material with a polished carbon fibre finish, the ingenious 7 touchscreen display centred within easy reach taking care of climate control, satellite navigation, Bluetooth & wireless connectivity and audio controls. The seats are constructed from two single polished carbon fibre sections, supported by an exposed brushed steel framework, with a sumptuous hand-stitched leather finish for maximum comfort and support on long journeys. The seats are available in a range of trims and can be upholstered to bespoke requirements. The steering wheel is carbon fibre and can be finished in either a hand stitched leather or lightweight trim. The G60 s luggage space is cavernous for a sports car of its type, the luxuriously soft fitted interior has a 200 litre capacity offering easily enough space for 2 sets of golf clubs. The ECU and wiring harness is bespoke for improved reliability and the driver s position fully evaluated; the pedals have been realigned with even the accelerator pedal grooves changed from a horizontal to a vertical plane for smoother throttle deliverance. The suspension is fully bespoke and designed in-house by Ginetta s experienced CAD team. Unassisted rack and pinion steering and aluminium billet uprights provide additional stiffness for improved handling. There are new larger grooved and drilled disks with 4 pot brake callipers all round - making the G60 s deceleration as impressive as its acceleration - while the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 shod 19 aluminium wheels keep it firmly planted on the asphalt. Focused on delivering a pure driving experience Ginetta has stripped out any extra weight in the G60. Traction control, servo brakes, power assisted steering and ABS have not been added, instead honest engineering has perfected the performance and handling.
