33 WZ Bedien-1611_(24) :24 Seite 33 Noise and vibration information Noise and vibration information The specified noise and vibration levels were determined in accordance with the standards EN , EN and EN The specified vibration emission level was measured on the basis of a standardised test procedure and can be used to compare power tools with one another. The specified vibration emission value may also be used to initially assess the impairment. The declared values are noise emission values and therefore do not necessarily represent safe values for the workplace at the same time. The correlation between emission and immission levels cannot reliably provide for a conclusion as to whether additional cautionary measures are necessary or not. Factors that could affect the respective imission level present at the workplace involve the specification of the work area, the surrounding area, the duration of exposure, other noise sources etc. You must also observe any divergences in national regulations with respect to permissible workplace levels. The aforementioned information does, however, allow the user to better assess dangers and risks. CAUTION! Risk of injury due to vibrations! While actually using the power tool, the vibration emission value may differ from the specified value depending on how the power tool is used. Define safety precautions to protect the user in relation to actual conditions of use. All parts of the operating cycle must be accounted for, i.e. including periods during which the power tool is switched off and during which it is turned on, but not operating under load. Wear protective gloves and take work breaks as necessary to reduce the risks posed by vibration. 33

34 WZ Bedien-1611_(24) :24 Seite 34 Disposal CAUTION! Hearing loss! Exposure to noise may result in loss of hearing. Only work with suitable ear protection. Persons nearby must also wear suitable ear protection. CAUTION! Noise disturbance! This device causes a certain unavoidable noise disturbance. Perform noisy work during the permissible hours of the day designated for work of this kind. If necessary, observe quiet hours and restrict the duration of work to the essentials. Disposal Disposing of the packaging BOX CARD widely recycled FILM PLASTIC not currently recycled Dispose of the packaging separated into single type materials. Dispose of cardboard and carton as waste paper and foils via the recyclable material collection service. Disposing of the cordless hammer drill (Applicable in the European Union and other European states with systems for the separate collection of reusable waste materials) The device and its accessories are made of different materials such as metal and plastic. 34

35 WZ Bedien-1611_(24) :24 Seite 35 Disposal Make defective parts available to the special waste collection service. Consult a specialist store or your local government! Old devices must not be disposed of with household waste! This symbol indicates that this product must not be disposed of together with domestic waste in compliance with the Directive (2012/19/EU) pertaining to waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). By properly disposing of this product, you are also contributing to the effective use of natural resources. You can obtain information on collection points for waste equipment from your municipal administration, public waste disposal authority, an authorised body for the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment or your waste disposal company. Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste! As the consumer you are required by law to bring all batteries and rechargeable batteries, regardless whether they contain harmful substances* or not, to a collection point run by the local authority or borough or to a retailer, so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
