It s easy to see that the single turbine engined A119 KOALA is a direct descendent of the world renowned Agusta A109 POWER twinturbine helicopter. Taking the best of the A109, the A119 retains its parent s sophistication while offering simplicity in its architecture. With its single Pratt & Whitney 1,002 shp turbine engine, the A119 is a performer far beyond the operational envelopes of many other single turbine helicopters. With its large multi-mission capable fuselage structure, the Agusta A119 KOALA is an 8 place cabin class helicopter combining safety attributes such as dual stability augmentation and major system redundancies with technically superior operational characteristics such as a 140 knot cruise speed (260 km/h) and a 1 ton cargo hook capacity.
