We will visit monthly, 12 visits annually and carry out thorough examination and certificate the visit. Included in the package are two x six monthly services and two six monthly test examination certificates. 7 days a week call-out to attend breakdown. The fixed monthly charge is payable on a net monthly account. This includes all labour, sundry parts, filters and lubricants. 5 IPAF Operator Training & Safety Equipment We have developed excellent training facilities of which both our staff and customers may take advantage. Indeed ours is the official IPAF operator training centre for Sheffield. Providing formal theory and practical courses weekly. The Health and Safety Executive and all good safety officers now expect users of MEWPS to carry a licence. IE:- A formally recognised certificate of training. You can achieve this with our safety team and make your working environment a safer place. Our safety equipment is the very best. MEWP harnesses, hard hats, protective eye and footwear and safety gloves are all available. We even take care of your working environment by supplying wheel covers and nappies on request. AWPT Operator Training Course Who is it for? The AWPT Operator course is suitable for anyone that operates a MEWP. What will I learn? Course content includes the following; Introduction Pre-theory test MEWP categories Structural Parts Regulations Pre-use inspection / handover Safe operating methods & hazards Theory test PASS or FAIL Practical training Practical assessment PASS or FAIL What will I get? An Operator s PAL card (Powered Access Licence), which is recognised worldwide across industries as proof of platform operator training to the highest standard. It is issued by AWPT to platform operators who successfully complete a training course and is valid for 5 years. You will also receive a logbook, an Operator s Safety guide and an AWPT Certificate. How long does it take? Usually 1 day, but can be 2 days depending on the number of machine categories required. Where can I go? You can do the training at an AWPT Training Centre or at your premises as long as there is the appropriate venue and machinery for the training course content. What do I do now? 12 A-Series Articulating Boom Lifts Skyjack s new A-SERIES Articulating Boom has been engineered utilising many of Skyjack s robust and reliable design features. The A-SERIES boom lifts are available in two configurations featuring the 46AJ and 51AJ models. Both models boast an industry leading, standard equipped, 360 degree continuous turret rotation. Zero tail swing compliments the turret design allowing for flexible operation in tight locations. Superior positive traction and terrainability is provided by the axle based 4WD used in many of Skyjack product designs, which accounts for a proven low maintenance, rugged and reliable drive train. The AJ s are equipped with a rear axle hydraulic differential lock/unlock switch allowing the operator to lock the rear differential when negotiating rough terrain. The unlocked position improves turning radius and reduces tire marks on hard surfaces.
