Its position on the side permits harvesting from a platform to be carried out quickly and easily in any type of plantation, with narrow or standard lanes.

4 4 DRIED FRUIT AND OLIVE COLLECTORS Sequence of movements The VML performs the full sequence of movements and actions necessary for harvesting the tree automatically. 1. The tree trunk can be seen on a screen inside the driver s cab, therefore the vehicle is stopped when this moment arrives. 2. Start the automatic harvesting sequence. 3. The harvester moves sideways until the sensor found on the vibration head touches the trunk and stops the sideways movement. 4. The umbrella arms are opened and the pincer arms are closed. 5. Vibration (select whether the vibration is in only one direction or in two and the required vibration time). 6. Opening of pincer arms and folding of umbrella arms. 7. Sideways movement of the harvester until it returns to the initial position. If the user considers it necessary, the movements can be made manually (not automatic).
