2 Pricing Reference Manual Section 9 - Standard Fees 9.1 Purpose This section details the services provided to customers for which a standard fee will be charged. These excluded services are of such a nature a specific fee can be calculated and listed. Certain fees (as noted) are specifically approved by ESCOSA and are therefore not to be varied. 9.2 Discussion Standard fees will be levied for all works of a highly repetitive nature. The fee recovers the standard cost of performing such work including labour, materials, vehicles, other services, overheads and a return on investment. In most instances the work (if over $1,000), will not be undertaken until the necessary fee is paid by the customer. In relation to customer supply work, the supply will be provided in accordance with Network Directive ND B3 which requires that the most technically feasible and minimum cost of supply will be provided. Any work in excess of the standard service will be at the customer s expense. All charging in relation to customer supply assumes the application of a full cost minus customer rebate philosophy for jobs over $3,000. Where works fall within the standard fee schedule in this represents a fixed quote charge and no additional charge over and above that stated may be applied. Note that all prices discussed in this Manual are exclusive of Goods & Services Tax () unless otherwise stated. That is, is applied to these prices at time of invoicing. Issued February 2008 Demand & Network Management 9-1
