THE UNIQUE AND FIRST APPROVED 100% ELECTRIC 4X4 FROM ELECTRIC CAR July 2009, Davézieux, Ardèche : Electric Car (Frappa Group, 1845) markets the first 100% electric 4x4, the VOLTEIS X4. After more than a hundred vehicles sold since March 2010, Electric Car launches, as early June 2011, the VOLTEIS X4 VS2. On the basis of various remarks from the users, the distributors, its own experience and technological advances, a dedicated team has been working for the past 6 months to bring to life the best one, whilst retaining the solid bases and the assets which make the VOLTEIS vehicles successful Electric Car thus becomes the pioneer of the leisure ecological vehicle and offers with the VOLTEIS the first 100% electric vehicles approved for the European road network. Unique, it proposes a new way of travelling and offers, thanks to its four wheel drive, pleasant and efficient use, on any type of road surface, in town, in the mountains, by the sea, in the country

2 VOLTEIS, is the freedom to drive differently, the freedom to have fun and the freedom no to pollute! 1 euro! This is what the VOLTEIS costs over 100 km. The general maintenance of the VOLTEIS is virtually inexistent, as there is no need to change the oil, there are no filters or spark plugs to change The motors and batteries are maintenance free. The batteries are 100% rechargeable in 6 hours, 50% in 2 hours. The VS2 range consists of two vehicles adapted to the needs of different users: the VOLTEIS X4 VS2 (4 seats) requiring a driving licence and the VOLTEIS X2 VS2 (2 seats) requiring no driving licence. Ultra-personalizable, they are available in a very broad range of colours for the bodywork as well as for the upholstery. Well suited to their time, the VOLTEIS are inventing a new way of living, while offering an environment friendly energy solution. They emit no pollutant (HC, Nox, particles ), no CO2 emissions and consume no oil. They are totally silent when stopped as when starting and with very low sound level when moving. A RENEWED PLEASURE OF DRIVING For all the day-to-day journeys VOLTEIS is ideal for private or professional owners who make daily journeys of 60km on average. It provides the freedom to envisage different uses with pleasure, quality and constant efficiency. Versatile, it provides a comfortable drive under all weather conditions thanks to its adjustable and completely removable top. The services are limited to the basics: change of tyres, brake pads Of course all these mini-services are far less frequent than on thermic vehicles. The electric motors and the batteries require absolutely no maintenance. The vehicles have a 2 year warranty, 1 year for the batteries and 10 years for anti-corrosion (please refer to the general warranty conditions). A CONCEPT IN TUNE WITH ANY COMPANY For any company concerned with ecology, the VOLTEIS represents the ideal solution: a back-up vehicle which is clean and silent, capable of being of service in any context. As much at ease in the hotel business as large farming operations and natural parks as on industrial or service industry sites, it makes it possible to both look after the customers and the company image and to visibly express one s commitment to the environmental cause.

3 A UNIQUE, EASY-TO-USE AND ROBUST CAR, 100% MADE IN FRANCE 100% French manufacture, a unique concept Equipped with an anticorrosion aluminium bodywork and a stainless steel laser-welded chassis, the electric 4X4 VOLTEIS displays robustness and long life. The technology used is serves reliability and excellent road behaviour. The two ABM motors placed on the front and rear axles drive the wheels in a synchronised manner and therefore provide the VOLTEIS with 4-wheel drive. The two motors, whose total nominal power is 8Kw for the VOLTEIS X4 VS2, allow clean accelerations. As for the 4 driving wheels, they provide very good roadholding. The onboard power consists of a pack of 12 AGM 48V-240Ah sealed lead batteries. The excellent weight/power ratio, the four disc brakes as well as efficient motor braking allow them to negotiate slopes of more than 50% gradient. An extreme simplicity of use for everybody! With no clutch or gearbox (automatic transmission), the VOLTEIS is extremely easy to use. Its Plug & Drive system, makes it possible to recharge it in any standard 220V electric socket, 50% in 2 hours, 70% in 3 hours and 100% in 6 hours. The maximum speed is 70 kph for the X4 and 45 kph for the X2, with an average autonomy of 60 km. The VOLTEIS X4 VS2 which is more powerful needs a class A, A1, B or B1 driving licence. The VOLTEIS X2 VS2 can be driven without a driving licence from the age of 16. The dashboard includes, in the axis of the steering wheel, a clearly visible electronic display permanently indicating the speed and the autonomy and two main selectors: a forward / reverse selector and a selector for the driving mode road / run off-road. ULTRA-PERSONALIZABLE LOOK AND EQUIPMENT The VOLTEIS is a tailor-made vehicle made-to-measure! 256 colours are available for the bodywork, about 70 colours for the upholstery, at no extra cost. A black waterproof canvas top, adjustable and completely removable, makes it possible to transform the vehicle, depending on the season or the weather conditions. The loud speakers are built into the dashboard with, as an option, a MP3/ ipod/ iphone station. It is also possible to integrate a towing hook, wood or leather finishes Storage compartments, very welcome on a daily basis, are available, such as a lockable glove compartment, two holding nets on the interior sides for newspapers, magazines, a central tidy, two rear boots with nets for the shopping.

4 AVAILABILITY AND PRICES VOLTEIS X4 VS2: 70 kph and average autonomy of 60 km / 24,750 euros incl. tax. VOLTEIS X2 VS2: 45 kph and average autonomy of 70 km / marketing at the end of the year. Approved by the ADEME, financial assistance of 2,000 euros for the VOLTEIS X4 VS2 (within the limit of the overall budget granted by the State). Many available options and personalization upon request. VOLTEIS is sold by about thirty distributors in France. It is also available in some European countries including Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, in the Caribbean, in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélémy and also Mauritius and Réunion Island. Electric Car intends to continue the development of its network in France and to extend it to the Seychelles, Italy, Polynesia and North Africa. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The design and the ergonomics of the VOLTEIS X4 VS2 are under review with, in particular, a tilt of the windscreen in continuity with the framework to facilitate the creation of a bodywork version with doors, a complete redesign of the dashboard and back seats facing forward with approved seatbelts The technical developments make possible, for example, the optimisation of the ventilation and the cooling of the batteries by mechanical ventilation and the optimisation of the distribution of the electric and electronic components.
