2 Worldwide 2050 annual energy use (all energy sectors of transportation, electrical power, agriculture and potable water production and transportation) is 3.2 x (3.2 Zeta Joules.) This is based on developing nations approaching 75% of Western nations projected 2050 consumption. Energy contained in world natural gas reserves: 6.9 x (6.9 Zeta Joules) All remaining natural gas could power the entire 2050 world for 2.15 years.

3 Energy contained in world petroleum reserves: 7.9 x (7.9 Zeta Joules) All remaining oil could power the entire 2050 world for 2.46 years. Energy contained in world coal reserves: 2.4 x (24 Zeta Joules) All remaining coal could power the entire 2050 world for 7.5 years.

4 Energy produced by every living plant in the world: 1.5 x (1.5 Zeta Joules) If every single living land and ocean plant in the world was replaced by solar cells having equal square area solar could power 47% of the entire world.

5 As can be seen by the previous 5 bullet points, we are faced with a problem. There are two solutions: 1. Reduce worldwide population by a factor of ten. That is the Malthusian solution called for by the sustainability movement s doctrine and Agenda Solve energy through mass to energy conversion; E=MC 2. Fission Fusion Matter anti-matter annihilation

6 In 1976, the Energy Research and Development Administration, or ERDA the predecessor to the Department of Energy published a chart showing various policy and funding options for the magnetic fusion energy research program. Each option, called a Logic, described how the level of funding for the research would determine when practical fusion power would become available.

7 The most aggressive profile, Logic V, proposed that a budget of approximately $600 million per year would put the fusion program on a path to operate a demonstration reactor by At the other end of the scale, Logic 1, set at a level of about $150 million per year, was the option colloquially described as fusion never, because the funding never reached the level where the remaining challenges in fusion could be overcome. The U.S. fusion program has been at that fusion never equivalent level, or below, for the past 30 years.

26 The Power of the USCL IP: In July 2008, Southern California Edison (SCE) filed a patent application substantially similar to USCL s themselves. In a First Office Action, the USPTO rejected all claims as not being a novel invention in view of the USCL application and issued patent. Why is this important? SCE planed to offer a license of its patent to all other utilities blocking USCL and other companies rights to recover money from their IP.
