The benefits are: Reduced effort Easy handling Low dust level Direction of travel Overthrow principle In this system the roller brush rotates at a higher speed and throws the sweepings up and back into a trailing container. Benefits: Up to 85100% of waste container capacity is utilized. Collection of large items (e.g. cans, stones) through wide opening bulk waste flap presents no problems. Abbreviated designations for the type of machine: KM or KSM for sweeper / vacuum sweeper 2. Abbreviated designations for the machine category: C for compact, i.e. push sweepers without travel drive W for walkbehind, i.e. walkbehind sweepers with travel drive R for rideon, rideon sweepers 3. Performance specified in numbers: There are two types of classifications here: a) Machine name with a combination of numbers (e.g. KM 100/100 R). The first number indicates the working width, the second the net volume of the waste container. b) Names with numbers (e.g. KSM 750) indicate the sweeping width with one side brush. 3

KSM 750: Available with powerful gasoline engine for cleaning yards, grounds and other outdoor areas or a very quiet battery drive for indoor use. For all those who need to regularly sweep coarse and fine material on large outdoor and/or indoor areas. Waste container can be emptied almost without effort. Filter and main broom are changed in no time. The polyester filter is washable and cleaned automatically every time the sweeper is switched off. A filter with an area of 64.5 ft 2 is cleaned automatically every time the sweeper is switched off, and a large 26.4 gallon hopper allows long periods of uninterrupted sweeping. Side brush and main broom feature hydraulic drive and are controlled pneumatically. That means the machine requires less maintenance and is more reliable. Parking brake is activated automatically when the sweeper is switched off. Side brush automatically swings outwards when lowered for fast and thorough sweeping of corners and other awkward areas. A bump guard protects the machine and obstacles. Available in three drive versions: Gasoline, LPG and battery (operates up to 4.5 hours on one charge). Available with gasoline/lpg engine or diesel engine. Large round filters ensure a 99.9% dust retention rate. The filters are cleaned automatically every time the engine is turned off. Filter cleaning can also be activated by a push button on the control panel. Three different main broom operating modes: Floating for undulating surfaces, fixed for smooth surfaces and a combination of floating and fixed option for surfaces with dips and hollows. All controls and instruments in the cockpit are clearly arranged for maximum driver convenience. An ergonomically shaped driver s seat and powerassisted steering are standard. Carpet cleaning The use of Kärcher sweepers is costeffective in all those locations where it is necessary to clean very large carpeted areas. Equipped with an antistatic main broom and lint filter, they clean thoroughly and effectively because dust and coarse dirt are removed in a single operation, without cumbersome electrical cords. Efficient use of filters Good sweeping results also depend on the choice of fine dust filter. Kärcher offers a number of technically advanced solutions, which are particularly economical and ensure a long wear life as a result of integrated cleaning systems and the washability of the materials used. Mounting kits A wide range of optional equipment enables Kärcher rideon sweepers to be adapted to the requirements of special working conditions from a weatherproof cab to lighting equipment for use in dark areas or at night. Economical brush technology Kärcher sweepers come standard with polyamide brushes because they are suitable for use on rough and smooth surfaces and have a wear life that it three times longer than that of conventional polypropylene brushes. You profit from the shorter settingup times and a longer service life. The standard main broom of vacuum sweepers and rideon sweepers are equipped with bristles arranged in a chevron pattern to ensure optimum transportation of the debris / dirt into the hopper. The standard main broom also features a combination of hard (black) bristles and soft (yellow) bristles for ideal results on almost all surfaces. 11
