Conditions and Exclusions Consumers may have other rights that will vary from state to state. NOVO HOME will repair, or replace products covered under the General Warranty at its discretion, provided that the product has not been put into commercial use, been abused in a fashion not normal to everyday residential use, and that the product has not been exposed to fire, smoke, water, extreme heat or cold. The product is covered for the periods stated in the context of indoor residential use to the original owner from the date of purchase. 14 Mechanism - Lifetime Warranty NOVO HOME offers a lifetime warranty on all mechanisms used in Serta Perfect Lift Chairs. The lifetime warranty applies to all parts of the mechanism assemblies, including rivets, screws, bushings, scissor mechanisms and pins, for as long as the chair is in use with the original owner. NOVO HOME will cover the cost of transportation for any replacement parts. The warranty also covers metal fatigue that results in a mechanism failure. This warranty applies to residential use only. NOVO HOME will replace or repair any defective mechanisms at its option with no shipping charges to the original owner, provided there is no evidence of product abuse, or commercial use. All Warranty work requires advance authorization by NOVO HOME. Parts & Labor TBD by NOVO HOME. Electrical Components - Five-Year Warranty NOVO HOME offers a 5-year warranty on all electrical components used in your new Serta Perfect Lift Chair. This includes: Electric Motors Transformers Hand Control Wiring Connections & Wires In the event that any of the electrical components fail or are found to have a manufacturing defect, NOVO HOME will repair or replace the part at its option, including transportation costs, for as long as the chair is in use with the original owner. This warranty applies to residential use only. All Warranty work requires advance authorization by NOVO HOME. Parts & Labor TBD by NOVO HOME. Wood Frame & Frame Components- Lifetime Warranty NOVO HOME offers a lifetime warranty on all wood frames and wood frame components used in Serta Perfect Lift Chairs. In the event that any part of the frame or wood frame components fail, or is found to have a manufacturing defect, NOVO HOME will repair or replace the product at its option, including transportation costs for as long as the chair is in use with the original owner. This warranty applies to residential use only. Repair Parts & Labor will be determined by NOVO HOME and all repairs require NOVO HOME authorization. General Workmanship & Manufacturing Defects NOVO HOME warrants all Serta Perfect Lift Chairs to be free from manufacturing defects and defects in materials used to construct all Serta Lift Chairs for a period of twoyears from the original date of purchase. NOVO HOME will replace or repair Serta Perfect Lift Chair products found to have defective workmanship or materials at its option with no shipping charges to the original owner, provided there is no evidence of product abuse or commercial use. Use of any non-approved NOVO HOME part will void this warranty Implied Warranties Implied warranties, including those of fitness for particular purpose or merchantability, are limited to (1) year from date of purchase and to the extent permitted by law.
