2 You Can Have More than a New Engine in Your Cessna 206 You Can Experience a New Aircraft Atlantic Aero has developed what may be one of the most sought after and successful STC s in the industry. We have combined our understanding of the Cessna 206 and our experience with the modern TCM 9.0 Litre CF engine to bring a workhorse airplane into the 21 st century. Our STC installation is approved on Cessna 206 models Serial Number Range: U through U Crossflow Cylinders and Tuned Induction The 9.0 Litre CF establishes a new definition of performance, safety, and comfort for pilots familiar with the standard Cessna 206. This new engine comes out of the box with factory approved 310 Horse Power at 2700 RPM and a 2000 hour TBO. You can feel the Horse Power on take off, see the fuel consumption difference at same power settings, plus it comes with a 300 hour increase in the TBO. 1

3 The modern TCM 9.0 Litre CF engine is certified to more stringent standards than the older IO-520. Among other requirements, the 9.0 Litre CF must produce its maximum rated 310 horsepower within a margin of plus 5%, minus 0%. By comparison, the IO-520-F must only produce its maximum rated 300 horsepower within a margin of plus or minus 2.5%. This means that the 9.0 Litre CF was produced with a minimum of 310 HP and could have as much as HP. The IO-520 was produced with a maximum of HP however it could have been as low as HP. Our 9.0 Litre CF engine is also rated at 310 HP Max Continuous at 2700 RPM and the IO-520 is at 285 HP at 2850 RPM. The 9.0 Litre CF gives the operator a greater assurance that the aircraft will perform as expected. With Hartzell s 82 inch, three blade, quieter, smoother and more efficient Super Scimitar propeller, vibration and noise are further reduced to levels not before available in the Cessna 206. This makes the aircraft much quieter and smoother, both inside and out. Pilot and passenger comfort is improved and the days of window rattling Cessna 206 takeoffs are gone. Atlantic Aero provides a revolutionary innovation in engine technology with the SmoothRide Engine Mount System, STC for Cessna 206 aircraft. The kit includes a newly designed and tested six-point engine mount system that provides a dramatic reduction of engine vibration to the cockpit environment. The increased stability of the SmoothRide Engine Mount System prevents engine mount sag during engine life and maintains a centered thrust line. Engine vibrations are significantly decreased from takeoff to touchdown, reducing fatigues and stress on both the airplane and the pilot.
