That s what we ve done at JCB to bring you the JCB Teletruk Agri Range; the world s most versatile small counterbalanced forklift. The range is made up of three models, each of which is designed to improve your productivity particularly around the yard. For example, just one benefit of these small and narrow industrial forklifts comes from freeing up your larger telescopic handler to do what it does best; handle true rough-terrain field applications. It s a much better use of your resources. And of course, because these Teletruks are classed as industrial counterbalanced machines the smallness and narrowness doesn t compromise on load capacity. They come into their own for congested yards and are also at home in the narrow aisles of storage sheds. Because there s no vertical mast in front of the cab, when you re working on container loading you don t need to pay extra for a special mast. With a JCB Teletruk full Free Lift comes as standard. Consider these facts. The twowheel-drive TLT 30D Agri High Lift will lift 3 tonnes to 5.15 metres. The two-wheel-drive TLT 35D Agri will lift 3.5 tonnes to 4.4 metres. And the fourwheel-drive TLT 35D 4x4 Agri will lift 3.5 tonnes to 3.5 metres, or 2.75 tonnes to full height 4.35 metres. Now think about this: you can change from forks to shovel in under 20 seconds (three minutes if you opt for manual disconnect) so you can get more done in a day by just one machine. The telescopic boom together with the 111 degrees of carriage rotation actively increases the performance of several standard ITA attachments. The fully enclosed hydrostatic drive transmission prevents the common problems of wear and tear caused by sand and mud. This is also true for design of the telescopic boom; there are none of the exposed chains and rollers of vertical mast forklifts. Quite simply you ll find any Teletruk Agri model will get more jobs done for you during the day. minute counts. These machines are ideal for yard and storage shed, enabling you to free up your larger telescopic handler for field duties and true rough-terrain applications. Plus, there s no need to call bigger machines back to the yard just to unload lorries or feed conveyors and hoppers. You will also find that the two-wheel-drive TLT 30D Agri High Lift in particular is the perfect machine for reaching forwards and positioning a box tippler as low as possible to the conveyor bed. Whilst this is no different to a telescopic handler it is certainly a whole lot better than using any ordinary straight mast forklift. So it can work in places inaccessible to your larger telescopic handler. But at the same time it can do more than any ordinary industrial forklift. For example, where yard space is tight delivery lorries can be parked against a fence and the Teletruk can load from one side by reaching across. The two-wheel-drive TLT 30D Agri High Lift is pictured here working inside a potato store stacking 1.5-tonne capacity Euro boxes to six high. This model is ideal for narrow-aisle work, especially where different product varieties have to be stored separately. The capacity is sufficient to lift two full Euro boxes to stack seven high. The results of the analysis and recommendations may surprise you, and then you can do something more productive with the space you will save (see illustration top right). With a shovel fitted to the JCB Changezee hydraulic quick-disconnect this TLT 35D Agri 4x4 stockpiles dry soil screened from the potato packing line conveyor (see picture bottom right). The Teletruk boom is far more versatile than any 5150mm ordinary forklift s mast; it can reach below from raised platforms and ramps (diagram shows model TLT 30D Agri High Lift). Loading lorries from one side with a Teletruk will also save up to 50% of your forklift loading area. So where space is tight the 450mm benefits can be significant. 3320mm

But on a JCB Teletruk Agri you can change from forks to shovel in less than 20 seconds without leaving the cab, significantly expanding the versatility of these machines. Teletruks stand apart from other counterbalanced industrial forklifts because of the unique hydraulic JCB Changezee quick-disconnect. Compact, lightweight yet robust, with integral hydraulic services, it is exactly what you would expect on a larger telescopic handler, but until today fast, effective hydraulic disconnect has been unknown on industrial FLTs. The JCB Changezee features safety-interlocked operation. A spring-switch must be depressed with one hand to divert the sideshift service to the locking ram. The other hand operates the service button on the main lever. So the system is designed with safety in mind because accidental disconnection is impossible. If you prefer, an alternative manual quick disconnect system is also available. This is designed primarily to change between forks and a special trapdoor bagging shovel the JCB Bagezee. Manual changeover typically takes about three minutes. The trapdoor shovel is ideal for filling one-tonne Big-Bag flexi-wall bags with fertiliser, bark chippings or dry compost material. When it comes to operating the attachments, you will notice there is excellent forwards visibility of the forks in the loading position, with the boom fully retracted and lowered. Note the hookon sideshift and standard cab screen guard. Also pictured here is a Teletruk 35D Agri with rotator attachment at 4.4 metres height. With its telescopic boom the JCB Teletruk Agri 35D 4x4 places a pallet of potato sacks inside a merchant s van, at the same time keeping clear of the doors and the vehicle body (see picture top right).

10 Like No Other Industrial Counterbalanced Forklift Four-Wheel-Drive Unlike any other industrial counterbalanced forklift, the JCB Teletruk Agri is available with a fullyenclosed hydrostatic drive system. The machines are designed with rough-surface yards and gradients in mind, the sort of conditions that would be quite unsuitable for ordinary FLTs. A TLT 35D 4x4 is able to work well in these heavy muddy conditions (see right) and is carrying a two-tonne timber pack. Such conditions would be impassable to any ordinary industrial FLT. Please note, pictured is a future building site which has been treated with underlying rubble infill, so it is not open agricultural land.
