2 Dear colleagues! In 2016 our factory celebrates its 20th anniversary from the day of its foundation. Our enterprise may rightly count itself a veteran of a new economy. Today in Russia and abroad «HYDROGAS» is widely known as a manufacturer of pumps, shutoff and control valves, water treatment systems and other high-technology equipment for energetics, oil and gas processing, chemical and other branches of industry. Successful work of our equipment at many Atomic Power Stations, at Plesetsk Cosmodrome and at oil platform «Prirazlomnaya» in the production of microelectronics in Open Joint-Stock Company «Angstrem» speaks for itself. Our company has achieved great success and steadily dominates in designing and manufacturing of chemical pumps and valves for pumping out of highly hazardous and aggressive substances. During the last 5-7 years the enterprise significantly increased manufacture and broadened pump range for the oil-extracting and oilprocessing industries for a short period of time. During the early 2000s the company began to work actively in the field of import substitution. Hundreds of projects were implemented in this direction during this time. The enterprise responds quickly and efficiently to the market change, meeting customers needs in modern high-technology equipment due to the presence of the closed production cycle at the enterprise, provided with the most advanced technological equipment; due to the presence of three specialized construction departments, a preproduction center and a research experimental center in the structure. Peculiarity and pride of the enterprise is the ability to create quickly a unique product taking into consideration analysis of the requirements and operating conditions using most advanced, including patented technical solutions. Our equipment is completely manufactured at the enterprise using the minimum amount of import component parts. One of the last inventions in stages of the factory in the sphere of import substitution is modern pumping equipment that is manufactured according to the standards API610 \ ISO 13709, that is used at the largest enterprises: «Tatneft» «Rosneft», «Gazprom neft» and others. During the recent years the factory played a leading role in the sphere of designing and manufacturing of industrial water treatment systems with the use of baromembrane technologies. It is enough to give the following example: the largest industrial building site of the country, project Open Joint-Stock Company «Novatek «Yamal LNG» will use water, received at our mini-factory. Today «Hydrogas» is investing its money in designing of new membrane technologies. Rich experience gained during the years of work connected with import equipment substitution allows us even today, when many factories only start this work, to offer the product which is as good as the best world analogues and which corresponds with the highest standards of reliability, efficiency and environmental disposal. 4 PUMPS DESIGNED UNDER API REQUIREMENTS HYDROGAS Company has been manufacturing a line of oil pumps designed IN ACCORDANCE WITH API requirements since Production of chemical pumps has been one of the manufacturing priorities. The needs of oil and petrochemical companies for state-of-the-art pumping equipment that would meet the highest requirements of domestic and international standards (API 610\ISO13709\GOST ) have shaped a new priority: development and manufacture of centrifugal pumps designed under the requirements of the API/ISO standards for the technological processes used in oil, petrochemical and gas industries. The main function of these pumps is to ensure operational safety which defines the development and manufacturing characteristics. The structural design of the pump rotor shaft is a between bearing system on roller bearings isolated from the handled medium by a system of double end face mechanical seals of the Tandem design. The condition of the barrier fluid can be visually controlled. These pumps can provide maximum operation periods while handling heavily contaminated petroleum products without the need to clean the filters. VND50/50A, fully compliant to the API 610 type VS4 (with a wet column for pumping liquids up to 200 C and more) requirements, is a development of the basic VND type pump design and differs from the previously manufactured VND series: - suspension shaft bearings on roller bearings with a coolant inlet and flushing with the pumping fluid; - suction and outlet joints have the same diameter (DN 80); - upper and lower shafts are connected by means of key joints with the lens-shaped Woodruff key excluding intermediate nonmetallic parts such as ring gears; - upper shaft is hinged to the motor shaft by means of the RADEX (KTR) diaphragm coupling; - mechanical seal used: CAPI A1 DUAL compliant to API610 and API682 requirements; - end face mechanical seal unit located on the pump s baseplate; - mechanical seal piping is designed without stub junctions and makes use of flanges; - AES15 vessel is used; - using counterfalnge of the pressure line for 4.0 MPa (PN40). The pump is designed to handle clean liquids. If necessary, it can be fitted with a filter for pumping contaminated media. 11

39 PUMP STATIONS Pump stations are used in especially important processes when liquid supply should not be interrupted or the main pump must be supported by instantly available back-up pumps, as well as in highly variable supply schedule systems. Generally, pump stations provide the option to enable a standby mode for one of the standby pumps. The control system sends a signal to start a back-up pump if the main pump cannot perform its functions fully or there is a need in a capacity increase. Pump stations can be designed as series of pumps installed one after another to increase the station s overall head.
