8 World beating innovation. JCB Power Systems began engine production back in 2004 following years of research, development and the biggest investment in the company s history. The result was the ground-breaking Dieselmax 4 cylinder, tier 2 engine that has since been working successfully the world over in hundreds of thousands of JCB and OEM products. Emissions legislation was the driving force behind the launch of the pioneering EcoMAX engine which brought an industry-first solution to the market in the shape of the only engine that eliminated the need for exhaust after treatment; a strategy that has subsequently been adopted by other manufacturers. The Tier 4 final version of this model has been engineered in advance and features the unique one can solution. It takes 3 to 4 men less on each job when using this machine and it also costs us less than specialist equipment. The machine can work on its own; it doesn t need to be towed and in the winter months it can be used for drainage and loading gritter lorries.
