1 SEAT ATECA 2016 The new SEAT Ateca will be available to order in the UK from May 2016 and will be in showrooms from September. Named after a town in Spain, the Ateca is SEAT`s first ever SUV and its body styling and features are indicative of the SEAT brand. R I S K FACTOR SALES VOLUME

There is a small area of MIG Brazing to the front part of the rear wheel arch. ``ADVANCED DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS (ADAS) The following ADAS systems are standard fit across the model range: Front Assist uses the front radar, (mounted behind the front bumper), to identify potential dangers such as traffic slowing or cars moving into your path. City Emergency Braking is an AEB System. If it detects an imminent collision it will alert the driver and prime the brakes. If the driver does not react, the CEB will apply emergency braking and bring the vehicle to a stop if necessary, avoiding or mitigating collision damage. 2

3 Pedestrian Protection the system detects pedestrians crossing in front of the vehicle and automatically activates the brakes. Tiredness Recognition the system monitors the steering wheel and accelerator pedal for driver input. If it detects pre-determined irregularities it will display a take a break message in the driver s instrument display, with audible and visual warnings also being given. A number of ADAS systems are available as options on the SE and Xcellence models. These include: Park Assist (self-parking) the vehicle is able to locate and self-steer into a suitable parking space with the driver only controlling the pedals. Top View Camera with Rear View Camera a series of 4 cameras, one in the front bumper lower grille, one in the tailgate between the number plate lamps, and one in each door mirror. The cameras combine to provide a 360 view all-round the vehicle, including a bird s eye view. The driver can select the appropriate view on the internal display screen. 3

Driving Assistance Pack 1 High Beam Assist when the system detects, via the screen front camera, oncoming traffic or traffic in the same lane in front, it will automatically dip the headlamps.

Lane Assist the system will provide gentle steering correction if it detects, via the screen front camera, that the vehicle is going out of lane. It will also warn the driver, by vibrating the steering wheel, if a greater steering effort is required. Driving Assistance Pack 2 High Beam Assist Lane Assist Traffic Sign Recognition will detect, via the screen front camera, speed limit, overtaking restriction and roadwork signage and relay this information to the driver display. Advanced Driving Assistance Pack Includes Driving Assistance Pack 1 Blind Spot Detection the system utilises sensors located each side behind the rear bumper, to detect vehicles in the drivers blind spot and displays a light in the appropriate door mirror when detected. Rear Cross Traffic Alert when reversing, utilising sensors located each side 4

behind the rear bumper, the system monitors the area to the rear of the vehicle. If another vehicle is detected to be too close, the system warns the driver.

Advanced Comfort and Driving Pack Plus Includes Driving Assistance Pack 2 Traffic Jam Assist (DSG models only) in congested traffic conditions and to ease the burden and monotony for the driver, the system will steer, accelerate and brake automatically. Emergency Assist - if the system detects that the driver has been inactive for a certain period of time it will issue visual and acoustic warnings. If the driver fails to respond, the system will pulse the brakes, if there is still no reaction, the system will bring the vehicle to a stop and activate the electronic parking brake and the hazard warning lamps. Adaptive Cruise Control the system automatically maintains the vehicles speed and distance in relation to the vehicle in front. If necessary and when the driver does not react, the brakes will be applied Pedestrian Protection Blind Spot Detection Rear Cross Traffic Alert Note: Diagnostic equipment and specialist tools are required for calibration of the ADAS camera and radar components. 5

6 ``TECHNOLOGY SEAT Drive Profile, allows the driver to choose between three driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sport. It is also possible for the driver to personalise their driver settings by selecting various aspects of the three modes. The 4Drive models add off-road and snow modes. The Ateca offers a high level of connectivity via its easy connect infotainment systems. SEAT Full Link, working alongside MirrorLink, allows users of virtually all smartphones to connect and incorporates the functions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless smartphone charging is optional and is via a connectivity box in the centre console. Optional LED lighting in the door mirrors, as well as illuminating the area around the door, also project the Ateca name on to the ground at the same time. An electrically powered tailgate which can be opened by waving your foot under a sensor is an option on SE & Xcellence. 6
