The cab is optionally available in Anthracite, Iridium Silver, Obsidian Black or Tenorite Grey. As an option, the bodywork including painted alcove is available to order in Crystal Silver Metallic.

5 Stowage compartments Generous garage The HYMER ML-T has a very generous garage with an internal loading height of 121 cm and access from

6 both sides. Large garage doors Loading capacity The garage of the HYMER ML-T comes as standard with a large door on both the driver and passenger side. The garage doors of the HYMER ML-T 580 have internal dimensions of 100 cm by 121 cm (W x H). The standard garage loading capacity of the HYMER ML-T is 350 kg, with the option of upgrading to 450 kg. Self-sufficiency package The HYMER ML-T is optionally available with a self-sufficiency package comprising a second and third living area battery, inverter and additional sockets. As an option, the self-sufficiency package is also available as a HYMER Smart Battery System with a second and third 135 Ah lithium battery. An efficient energy management system for even greater independence. The batteries are housed in an externally accessible compartment.

10 Panoramic roof vent There is plenty of light in the HYMER ML-T thanks to the standard HYMER panoramic roof vent with LED lighting in the living area. The manually-operated panorama roof over the cab, which provides even more daylight, is optionally available in a package. The hooks on the coat rack in the entrance area are the perfect place for you to hang up your jackets as soon as you enter the vehicle. And when it s time for you to head outside again, your jackets are always close at hand and within easy reach. Integrated gooseneck lights above the driver s cabin seats provide enough light for you to read at night.

11 Above the cab, there s a storage shelf spanning the width of the vehicle where you can store your documents, glasses, wallets and other items, even whilst driving. A spacious overhead storage compartment above the table gives you plenty of room to store your travel provisions, crockery or reading material. The standard integrated curtain for the cab made from a high-quality pleated fabric keeps out prying eyes and enables you to make it completely dark inside the vehicle.

Extra-large sleeping surface The twin beds can be readily transformed into an extra-large sleeping space using the optional spare cushion and ladder.

Spacious and modern The comfort bathroom in the HYMER ML-T 560 and 580 boasts a separate, spacious shower, a modern bench toilet and a reasonably sized standing area. No more wet feet! Secure shelves The separate shower screen has multiple advantages: you can open it to give you maximum freedom of movement in the comfort bathroom or close it to keep your feet dry outside the shower. The generous bathroom cabinet offers bags of storage space. Rails ensure that everything is held securely in place on the shelves when the vehicle is in motion.

24 HYMER ML-T - Standard Equipment Powerful rear-wheel drive Garage with plenty of storage space The vehicle for winter sports fans Two standard garage doors on the left and right with a loading gauge of up to 121 cm, 350 kilos of garage loading capacity and high-quality gas pressure shock absorbers provide ample storage space in the HYMER ML-T. Our motorhomes offer a hasslefree all-round package for winter sports enthusiasts: insulated service installations and tanks, heated dashboard and exterior locker compartments, winter air vents in the windows and seating areas and a warm air supply under the cab seats. As for the exterior, the GRP floor provides effective protection against grit and salt (depending on model). Protection from below Hot-air heating system No thermal bridges The indestructible GRP underbody gives the vehicles perfect protection against weather damage. Stone damage, grit and dirt are likewise kept at bay a solid and lasting foundation for the entire service life of your motorhome. Installed as standard, the 6,000 W hot-air heating system with hot water boiler effortlessly ensures a cosy indoor temperature in the HYMER ML-T, even when it s below freezing outside. Its central location under the seating area means that the heat is optimally distributed throughout the motorhome. The high-quality framed windows are fitted with acrylic double glazing for optimal thermal insulation. The powdercoated aluminium frame is particularly lightweight and sturdy and is also equipped with an insulating layer to protect against thermal bridging. The rear-wheel drive of the HYMER ML-T has an impressive two-ton towing capacity (the HYMER ML-T 620 is an exception with 1,400 kg). Thanks to the Sprinter s powerful rear-wheel drive, you can rely on smooth, superior handling in all traffic situations and an extremely comfortable drive into the bargain.

25 Secure storage Level living area Energy-saving LEDs All kitchen drawers are equipped with ball bearings for a smooth action and feature a Servo softtouch closing mechanism and fastenings to prevent them from coming open accidentally and rattling while the vehicle is in motion. All layouts of the HYMER ML-T have a level floor throughout the living area, unimpeded by raised sections. That way none of the headroom is lost and there are no obstacles to trip over, especially in the dark. The interior lighting throughout the vehicle features LED technology as standard. This cuts energy consumption by 3/4 and gives you hours of extra battery life. Since LEDs don t get hot, this also improves fire and accident safety. Ready-wired for radio and TV Exterior lighting Perfectly chilled Loudspeakers in the sleeping and living area, wiring and sockets and a radio aerial are factory-fitted as standard in every motorhome. All you need to do is plug in and play! The high-power LED awning light with rain deflector is also part of the standard package. It lights up a wide area outside the entrance door so you can enter the vehicle safely in the dark. Despite its slim design, the standard fridge-freezer boasts a capacity of 142 litres plus a 15litre freezer compartment. Its interior is also clearly organised with practicality in mind. Convenient drainage Sleeping comfort The feel-good factor The waste water tank in the HYMER ML-T can be drained at the touch of a button. It is equipped with an electric valve which can be instantly opened and closed via the switch right on the dashboard. All beds are equipped with highquality multi-zone cold foam mattresses that provide the right support for all areas of the body. Breathable mattress toppers in the rear section ensure good ventilation. Individual temperature adjustments and the boost function for fast hot water supply and room heating in the HYMER ML-T can be controlled via the central LCD control panel for the heater, which is inet-ready and comes with a timer as standard.

The handy hob and oven combination offers home-fromhome cooking convenience in the kitchen. Thanks to a versatile range of functions, you can bake, grill and boil to your heart s content in the HYMER ML-T. The individual components are very easy to clean. Self-sufficiency package with readily accessible second and third battery in the exterior locker door and an inverter, which reliably supplies 1,800 W to the 230 V onboard power supply in the HYMER ML-T. 37 HYMER ML-T - Driver assistance systems Safety not only of extreme importance at HYMER; it is also a top priority at Mercedes-Benz right from development and design, placing the transporters with the iconic star emblem among the safest of their class. Thanks to its safety packages that are unique in the van segment, the Sprinter no longer has to hide behind any passenger car. In many cases, the numerous standard or optional safety features assist in reducing the accident risk as well as increasing driving comfort. Standard assistance systems: World innovation: The crosswind assistant on the HYMER ML-T as standard. The Mercedes Sprinter is the first van to be equipped with a crosswind assistant as standard*. From January 2015, the HYMER ML-T is the first motorhome to be equipped with this crosswind assistant as standard. With its sensors, the crosswind assistant promptly detects forces impacting on the vehicle as a result of side wind gusts, whether on a bridge or when overtaking a HGV, and assists the driver in remaining in their lane. When travelling at speeds of 80 km/h and above, the assistant corrects the course of the vehicle by automatic braking interventions on the wheels located on the side of the vehicle facing the wind. Consequently, the crosswind assistant is able to prevent inappropriate reactions and increase the driver s feeling of safety. By the way, the crosswind assistant can be obtained as a retrofit solution very easily via a software update for all HYMER ML-T vehicles delivered prior to January Simply contact your HYMER dealer for information regarding concrete possibilities and modalities of the professional retrofitting. Advantage: The driver experiences a noticeable relief. Their feeling of safety and comfort is increased and inappropriate driver reactions are prevented during gusts. Furthermore, the driver is also made aware of the system intervention via a warning light on the instrument cluster. The crosswind assistant is activated at speeds of 80 km/h and above. *Please note: The crosswind assistant is not installed in combination with a four-wheel drive system. ADAPTIVE ESP : Stability in milliseconds. The ADAPTIVE ESP is the latest handling control system which takes the loading condition of the vehicle into account. It actively engages in certain dangerous driving situations by means of specific braking interventions to individual wheels and adjusts the engine output as needed in order to help the driver master the critical dangerous situations. It combines the functions of the anti-lock braking system (ABS), traction control system (TCS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist system (BAS) and the hill start assist (HSA) whilst also equipping the vehicle with an extra driving stability assistant. Attention: The ADAPTIVE ESP cannot override the laws of driving physics. For instance, the ADAPTIVE ESP cannot prevent skidding as a result of aquaplaning. Not even the ADAPTIVE ESP is able to prevent an accident if a driver exceeds the physical limits. Optional systems available in the driver assistance package: COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST. As part of the driver assistance package, the COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST issues a visual and acoustic warning when the vehicle is too close to another vehicle or obstacle and assists you in the event of an emergency brake manoeuvre. It combines a radar-supported distance warning system with the braking support from the brake assist

38 system (BAS) and, in doing so, helps in reducing the risk of a rear-impact collision. The COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST distance warning system is based upon a mid-range radar sensor which is embedded in the front section of the vehicle and, in the speed range of between 30 and 160 km/h, permanently measures the distance to the vehicle in front and also checks its relative speed. Stationary obstacles can be recorded at speeds of up to 70 km/h. A warning light appears on the instrument cluster if the driver drops below the minimum safety distance to a vehicle in front for several seconds. An intermittent tone will sound if the distance rapidly decreases further as a result of high speed or severe acceleration. At the same time, the COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST activates the BAS pro brake assist system. This system calculates the braking pressure that would be required to prevent a rear-impact collision. If the driver now forcefully applies the brake, the BAS pro brake assist system automatically increases the braking pressure to a value tailored to the situation where necessary. In the event of an emergency braking procedure, the ABS prevents the wheels from locking. The braking force support generated by the BAS pro brake assist system is deactivated once again when the brake pedal is released or if there is no longer any risk of collision. The COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST is only available as part of the driver assistance package. It is not available as a stand-alone item. Lane departure warning system. The lane departure warning system warns the driver by means of acoustic and visual signals if they unintentionally leave their lane. Intended lane changes are recognised as such by the system and no warning is issued. It is equipped with a camera which is positioned on the inside of the windscreen. This camera is able to register clear lane markings by evaluating the differences in contrast between the road surfaces and the boundary lines. An electronic control unit processes the camera data and the activities of the driver in order to determine whether the lane has been left intentionally or unintentionally. The system provides an acoustic and visual warning if it determines that the lane has been left unintentionally. As a result, the risk of accidents caused by briefly falling asleep at the wheel or a decrease in concentration can be reduced. The lane departure warning system is only available as part of the driver assistance package. It is not available as a stand-alone item. Full beam assistant. The full beam assistant automatically controls the full beam depending on the environmental and traffic situation for the best possible view. It is controlled via a monitor camera located behind the windscreen which permanently records the front vehicle environment and the traffic events taking place in front of the vehicle. If the light conditions change, the full beam is automatically activated or deactivated depending on the environment and traffic situation. This always ensures that best possible lighting of the road which is noticeably beneficial in terms of comfort, especially during long trips. The full beam assistant is only available as part of the driver assistance package. It is not available as a stand-alone item. Headlight assistant with light and rain sensor. The headlight assistant is particularly useful at dusk as the light is activated at the correct time. Furthermore, the rain sensor automatically activates the windscreen wipers when it begins to rain and adjusts the wiping frequency to the severity of the precipitation in an infinitely variable manner.
