Minerals in hard water combined with soaps and shampoos can form a cloudy scum on taps. The longer residue remains on taps, the more difficult it becomes to remove. Frequently cleaning taps maintains their aesthetic appeal and prevents unsightly buildup. Use basic soap solutions to effectively clean and restore a taps. Special Care Robust cleaning methods and aggressive cleaning agents may not just damage surfaces, they can also affect the inner workings of the product. Avoid mistakes when combating limescale and dirt: if incorrect treatment leads to damage, this is excluded from the warranty. Never spray cleaning agents directly onto mixers or showers. Instead, spray cleaning agent onto a soft cloth and use this to wipe the surface. Thoroughly rinse mixers and showers after cleaning with clean water. Do not use any cleaning agents containing hydrochloric acid, formic acid, chlorine bleach or acetic acid, as these can lead to significant damage. Please follow below steps: Fill a spray bottle with undiluted white vinegar. Spray the vinegar generously onto the faucet. Let the vinegar remain on the faucet for 5 minutes to loosen soap scum, dirt and mineral deposits. Wipe the faucet with a paper towel to remove loose grime. Inspect the faucet for remaining stains, scum or grime. If more cleaning is needed, fill a plastic bowl with 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/4 cup of white vinegar. Thoroughly mix the ingredients to form a paste with the consistency of toothpaste. Spread the paste over the faucet, using a spatula. Keep the paste on the faucet for 10 minutes. Scrub the faucet with a nylon scouring pad to loosen remaining debris. Dampen a soft cotton rag with warm water. Wipe the damp rag over the faucet to rinse away the paste and loosened debris. Some toilets have a special glazed finish that helps keep the toilet cleaner longer. Whether your toilet has special glaze or not, cleaning procedure has to be fallowed. Do it frequently (sufficient frequency depends on usage) and use appropriate cleaning products. Please follow below steps: Put on protective eyewear as toilet cleaning chemicals can be very caustic. For the same reason, as well as sanitary reasons, wear rubber gloves. Open a window, if possible, for ventilation. At the least, keep the bathroom door open as cleaner fumes are toxic. Open a bottle of non-abrasive toilet cleaner. Point the top just beneath the rim of the inner part of the toilet bowl. Squirt the product all around the inner rim. Leave the room and let the cleaning product have ample time-check the label-to work on the toilet. If you have pets or young children in the home, secure the bathroom door to prevent their contact with the cleaning chemical. Use a toilet brush to scrub the inside of the toilet bowl thoroughly. Close the lid (to prevent splashing the chemical) and flush the toilet to rinse out the bowl. Wet a sponge in warm water. Apply either a general bathroom cleaner or antibacterial soap to the sponge. Use this to wash the seat, the lid and other areas of the toilet. Rinse out the sponge and wipe over the outer toilet surfaces again. This is to remove cleaner residue. You may dry the toilet's exterior with a soft towel, if you wish. 201
