4 RANGE THE EXPERT RANGE, A VAST CHOICE FOR ALL NEEDS As no two businesses are the same, our Expert range offers you a vast choice of configurations: 3 volumes, 2 payloads and 3 HDi diesel engines. You can be sure of finding the Expert that meets all your requirements. Whatever your choice, the Expert is everything you are looking for in terms of comfort, loading capacity, durability and safety. Your Expert is offered as a panel or window van. Each model is available in 2 lengths and 2 heights (with standard suspension or pneumatic suspension) with a load volume of 5, 6 and 7 m3.

6 DIMENSIONS SUITED TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS DIMENSIONS A VERSATILE RANGE In order to be suited to as many uses as possible, the range of Expert vans is available in two lengths (4.80 and 5.13 m) and two heights (1.94 m and 2.27 m with standard suspension, or 1.90 m and 2.20 m with pneumatic suspension). 8 A LOAD SPACE THAT SIMPLIFIES YOUR LIFE LOADING LOADING SILL To make handling merchandise or materials easier, the Expert s loading sill is the lowest on the market when fitted with optional adjustable pneumatic suspension* which can be adjusted when stationary: a height of only 45 cm in the low position. *Available as an option according to version. PAYLOAD The Expert has payload options of 1000 kg or 1200 kg. The platform cab can also accommodate a payload of 1200 kg.

9 STOWING RINGS* To guarantee maximum safety, 8 stowing rings, arranged on each side of the rear load space, can be used to secure a load on the floor of the vehicle. * Straps not supplied. kg GVW of 2.6T and 2.9T 3 volumes 5, 6 and 7m 3 SLIDING SIDE DOORS Guided by two bearing rails and a rail at the top, the Expert has standard twin sliding side doors. Particular attention has been paid to the design of the opening handles to make manoeuvring the doors easier. At the rear, the width of the opening allows loading of a Euro-palette. * Available as an option according to version. HINGED REAR DOORS The two panel or glazed hinged rear doors open to 180 to make loading easier. On the long and high version, the Expert is fitted with special rear doors, adapted to its height.

10 SUSPENSION EASE OF DRIVING SUSPENSION (STANDARD / PNEUMATIC) The Expert offers a choice between two types of rear suspension: metal or pneumatic. The latter allows the vehicle to remain at an overall height of 1.90 m and a constant ride height, regardless of the load. When stationary, it allows adjustment of the height of the loading sill by means of a manual control. STEERING For greater driving pleasure and extra fuel economy, the Expert is fitted, according to engine, with hydraulic power steering (1.6 l HDi 90 engine) or electrohydraulic power steering (2.0 l HDi 120 and 136 engines). 1,90 m 450 mm PNEUMATIC SUSPENSION Specifically developed by Peugeot for the Expert, the pneumatic suspension offers several advantages: An overall height of 1.90 m The Expert, fitted with pneumatic suspension, allows you to park in car parks with access limited to 1.90 m. A constant ride height Regardless of the vehicle s load, the ride height remains constant. Loading sill A button in the boot permits adjustment of the loading sill. So, in the low position, it is the lowest on the market, offering optimum ease of loading.

11 In this case, the electropump assembly is controlled according to the speed of the vehicle and the speed of rotation of the steering wheel, irrespective of the engine speed. FRONT / REAR SUSPENSION When a vehicle is a work tool, you have to be able to count on it in all circumstances. The quality of its suspension and wheels gives the Expert benchmark stability. Regardless of the load, the rigidity of the body and independent pseudo Mac Pherson type front suspension with independent wheels, optimise road holding. The semideformable rear suspension provides an excellent level of active safety. STOPS / DAMPERS The Expert has long, dense travel stops. By continuously adjusting their rigidity and load flexibility, these stops form the link between the front and rear suspension, providing stable vehicle handling and an excellent level of comfort, even when empty. The dampers have been designed to provide excellent support of the vehicle body and enviable suspension comfort.

12 WORK IN COMPLETE COMFORT COMFORT A working vehicle used every day must be ergonomic, practical and comfortable. The interior is functional and innovative and equipped with comfortable seats providing excellent support. The Expert also offers a visibility pack, available as an option, which includes automatic rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamp control, air conditioning with pollen filter (with activated carbon) and a passenger compartment air recirculation system. The Expert also offers numerous storage compartments which make everyday life easier. 1. Overhead storage compartment* A storage space located below the roof, above the front passengers, the overhead storage compartment can accommodate files or small essential objects. * Open or closed according to equipment.

13 Lumbar adjustment* To provide a better driving position, the driver s seat can be fitted with a lever lumbar adjustment control on the side of the seat back. 3. 14 TECHNOLOGY THE BEST OF TECHNOLOGY Trips in town or long journeys on the main road: the driver s information and comfort help him to travel with maximum efficiency. The Expert has techology previously only seen in passenger cars. PC SOUND RADIO CD MP3 The Expert s control panel incorporates a radio/single CD, with steering wheel control. The sound is emitted by 2 speakers and 2 tweeters. MULTIMEDIA SYSTEMS The Expert offers a choice of interactive multimedia systems. Peugeot Connect Navigation (RNEG) has a 7 inch colour screen and combines three functions: radio, Bluetooth hands-free kit and GPS navigation. PEUGEOT CONNECT USB As an option, the PC Connect system, which incorporates the Bluetooth function, allows you to connect digital portable equipment via a USB port to listen to your favourite music in complete freedom. EXTERIOR MIRRORS Their double mirror makes parking manoeuvres easier and provides better coverage of the blind spot on the driver s side. The exterior mirrors can be adjusted, folded electrically* from the inside and heated** at the same time as the demisting of the rear screen. * As an option only. ** As standard or optional according to version.. AUDIBLE REAR PARKING ASSISTANCE Activated when reverse gear is engaged, ultrasonic sensors warn you of the presence of an obstacle, or person, near the rear of the vehicle. The frequency of the audible signal increases until it becomes continuous when the obstacle is less than 30 cm away.

17 PEUGEOT AND THE ENVIRONMENT The Expert s engines all comply with the Euro 4 standard and are designed to facilitate your journeys and increase your efficiency. They all work towards the same objectives: a desire for economy and protection of the environment. HDi TECHNOLOGY A source of performance and economy, the Common Rail injection system is featured on every Expert HDi engine. By injecting fuel at high pressure directly into the combustion chamber, this system reduces fuel consumption and provides extra power, in compliance with the Euro 4 emission control standards. PEF The Particle Emission Filter (PEF) technology reduces emissions of pollutant particles without reducing power or performance. SMOOTH AND DYNAMIC DRIVING A choice of three engines For your Expert, you can choose from three HDi diesel engines, one of which is bound to meet your requirements. 1.6 l HDi 90 bhp This engine has 16 valves, a double overhead camshaft and a fixed geometry turbo. Lively and powerful, it is very economical and perfectly suited to driving in town 2,0 L HDi 120 bhp Compared with the 90 bhp version, the 2.0 l HDi 120 bhp adopts a variable geometry turbo. Its specifications make it an ideal engine both for short trips in town and longer journeys on main roads. 2.0 L HDi 136 bhp FAP This engine is fitted with the Particle Emission Filter to reduce harmful emissions without compromising peformance and economy.

18 PROTECTIVE INTELLIGENCE SAFETY The Expert is a modern vehicle which offers all the latest equipment intended to improve the safety of the driver and passengers. Fitted on the Expert as an option or as standard*, several technologies contribute to providing greater safety: ANTICIPATE ABS, EBA the anti-lock braking system (ABS) controls your trajectory during emergency braking, the Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA) provides additional assistance on sharp braking which increases the braking pressure and reduces the stopping distance to a minimum. ESP* ESP prevents wheel slip in the event of loss of traction the ROM module, by acting on the brakes, limits the risks of the vehicle rolling over in the event of extreme transverse acceleration the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) continuously compares the information transmitted by the steering wheel sensor and the yaw sensor to detect any incipient understeer or oversteer. It then initiates corrective actions to maintain the trajectory initially required by the driver. *Optional according to version. BRAKING In order to optimise the efficiency, endurance and reliability of the braking, all Expert models are fitted with four disc brakes (with the exception of the L1H1 1.6l HDi van with standard suspension, which has drum brakes at the rear). SPEED LIMITER AND CRUISE CONTROL* Your vehicle can be fitted with cruise control and a speed limiter. The cruise control allows you to maintain a constant speed regardless of the relief of the road and without having to press the accelerator. The speed limiter deactivates the accelerator as soon as a programmed speed is reached. *Optional. PROTECT REINFORCED STRUCTURE The design of the body frame ensures energy absorption in the event of an impact in order to protect the occupants. The integrity of the passenger compartment is guaranteed by the securing of the engine on the subframe and providing reinforcement inside the doors. The front bumper has a high absorbtion capacity thanks to a beam mounted on dampers screwed to the chassis leg IMPACT Reinforced seat fittings and controlled displacement of the pedal bracket and steering column (allowing the steering wheel to retract by 80mm), reduce injury in the event of front impact. Particular attention has been paid to the displacement of hard incompressible masses in the engine compartment to limit intrusion into the passenger compartment. AIR BAGS Fitted as standard, the driver s front air bag located in the steering wheel pad protects the chest and head. A front passenger air bag, designed to cover both the individual passenger seat configuration and the 2-seat bench configuration, can also be installed, as well as 2 side air bags* in the backs of the individual seats. *Optional. SEAT BELTS Height adjustable 3-point seat belts are equipped with pretensioners and force limiters to reduce the physical force to which side occupants may be exposed. HEAD RESTRAINTS The head restraints are fitted on the front seats. They can be removed and their height can be adjusted to adapt to the size of the occupant.

19 DRIVER S SEAT PROTECTION Behind the driver s seat, a vertical ladder provides the driver with the best possible protection against the risks of load movement. A number of bulkhead options are also available. WARN FASTEN SEAT BELT INDICATOR A visual warning, supplemented by an audible warning when the Expert exceeds 10 mph (15 km/h), indicates the driver s seat is unfastened.

20 IT IS ALWAYS ON ITS GUARD SAFETY INGENIOUS SECURITY DEVICES Ingenious security devices supplement the Expert s protection equipment: separate unlocking of the cab and load compartment using the remote control, locking of the load space from the cab, visible marking of the vehicle identification number CENTRAL LOCKING / UNLOCKING CONTROL Located on the centre console, this activates the normal locking. An additional control permits locking / unlocking of the rear compartment only. When the Expert is moving, the automatic locking of the doors function is activated when the speed reaches 6 mph (10 km/h). In the event of an impact, the doors unlock automatically. HAZARD WARNING LAMPS SWITCH Close to hand for both the driver and passengers, the hazard warning lamps switch can be identified very easily. It is triangular, red, and placed on the fascia s central control panel. OPEN DOOR LOCATOR If a door is left open, including those in the load compartment, you are alerted by a warning lamp on the instrument panel, or by the multifunction screen if your Expert has one. LOCKING / UNLOCKING On the remote control, three buttons trigger the locking / unlocking of all the doors, of the cab only or of the rear compartment. From his seat, the driver can lock or unlock the entire vehicle, the front cab only or the rear compartment only. To make identification of your Expert easier, its chassis number is engraved at the base of the windscreen.

21 DRIVER S ELECTRIC WINDOW SAFETY SYSTEM The one-touch control for the driver s electric window has an anti-pinch system: if the window detects an obstacle, it reverses its direction of movement. THEFT PROTECTION / INTEGRITY OF THE VEHICLE The Expert s mechanical protection devices have earned it a high level Thatcham security rating: single exterior lock with a high level of tamper protection, disengageable and antipick, lock control cable connection protective plate. DEADLOCKING These systems render all of the interior opening controls inoperative, so there is no point trying to break in by breaking a window. * Optional. CODED ENGINE IMMOBILISER This electronic immobiliser system pairs the engine ECU and the BSI so that the vehicle can operate. In the same way, the audio and telematic equipment needs to be paired with the BSI. SPECIAL PROTECTION SYSTEMS An anti-theft mechanism locks the steering if there is an attempt to break the visible part of the steering column. The spare wheel can only be accessed from the rear compartment.
