1 HIGH PERFORMANCE WET SUMP OIL SYSTEM WeaponX suggests that this kit be installed by a professional installer. Congratulations on the purchase of the WeaponX Wet Sump Oil system. Along with high performance characteristics this system also improves on system oil control which improves engine horsepower and responsiveness while allowing the utmost in engine protection. We are sure you will have many years of quality use out of this quality engineered piece. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Step 1 The stock harmonic balancer must be replaced with the WeaponX harmonic balancer. Bolt the aluminum spacer with the supplied hardware to the harmonic balancer and then proceed to bolt the cog drive assembly to the aluminum spacer. The end result should be as the below pictures.

2 Step 2 Ford Modular engines have bolts extending out of the bottom portion of the engine block. Usually there is a bracket holding an accessory line on one or both of them. Remove the accessory brackets and move the bottom passenger side bolt to the location just above the trigger wheel sensor as in the pictures shown. Step 3 Place the supplied XXX spacers on the bolts that were previously holding the accessory brackets. During some model year vehicles the bolts provided are larger in diameter. If you have a vehicle that had larger diameter bolts you may need to ream or enlarge the bore of the spacers slightly.

3 Step 4 Place the WeaponX Pump Mount over the bolt locations. Again some model year vehicles may have larger diameter bolts. Use discretion enlarging or possibly countersinking the hole diameter on the pump bracket if necessary Step 5 Place the large spacer behind the final bolt location. The 3 bolt location allows for proper retention of the oil pump for extended full throttle blasts. Once the spacer is lined up with the hole place the bolt pulled from above the trigger wheel sensor through the oil pump, bracket then spacer and tighten. There are certain model year vehicles that may have bolts that will not engage enough thread. If this happens it may be necessary to purchase a longer bolt.

4 Step 6 Place the adjustment bolt through the second bolt location loosely After this is done place the key on the oil pump and the cog drive on the oil pump as well. Do not tighten yet.

5 Step 7 Place the belt around the drives. Line up both drives so that they are flush with one another. Remove the belt and tighten the Allen key bolts on the oil pump cog drive. Install the Front Oil pump cog drive retention mechanism so that any failures will prevent the cog drive from coming off the oil pump. Now re-install the belt, tension the belt by rotating the oil pump downwards and tighten the adjustment bolt. Step 8 The final product should look like such. Note that the oil pressure on the system comes factory pre set at a high level to prevent damage to the engine once started. Read below charts for recommended oil pressure levels.

6 Please connect a mechanical oil pressure gauge to the system to ensure proper operating pressure levels. Products that fail will be replaced at WeaponX's option when product quality has been marked as the failing issue. This warranty does not include abuse, misuse, modification or improper installation of the product. Warranty is limited to oil pump upgrade parts only and shall not be liable in part or whole for any special, incidental or consequential damages or costs that may occur with this product. The foregoing is exclusive and in lieu of any other warranties either expressed or implied and is valid only to the original purchaser. During a return product must be accompanied by an RGA number and must be received within 30 days of RGA issue. WeaponX may at our discretion charge appropriate handling and shipping fees back to original purchaser if product is found to be in operating condition. Minimum $9 handling fee on returned product to be charged for processing.
