Fix the harness to the cable ties at 20cm intervals. Make sure the harness does not touch or foul an mechanical Controls or adjusters: heater controls, pedals, steering column, etc. For safety reasons, never tie the harness to any airbag harness( yellow connectors ). - / / - / /

2 NSTALLATON PROCDUR: NSTALLATON PROCDUR: 2a 2) nstrument driver lower cover removal ) Care must be taken not to scratch or damage any components during the removal or replacement process. Remove the following interior trim parts in the sequence shown below. Store these re-usable parts in a safe and protected manner. a) Remove the clips from the two control buttons of fuel tank cap and the engine hood,on the instrument lower panel under the steering. Take off the control buttons,then remove the plastic sheeting. Remove the instrument lower panel under the steering wheel used the nylon removal tool, locate the vehicle BCM Nylon removal tool 2b. nstrument side panel L 2. nstrument side panel R 3. 4 NSTALLATON PROCDUR: i. Straight and evenly spaced all the way around ii. Tight and minimize gap (wire jacket should be crushed) 2 0) dentify and confirm (test if necessary) the correct vehicle wire to be tapped. ) Tap vehicle wire. a) Remove cap ( slot side) from tap body Slide cap around veicle wire c) Tighten the tap T with finger pressure NOT: Do not re-use the tap for subsequent re-installation.figures are not to scale. 2) nspect the tap to ensure correct installation. NOT: Avoid putting pressure on the vehicle wire and tap for the remainder of the installation. NSTALLATON PROCDUR: BCM 7 c) Wrap the connected connector with one piece of Urethanre Foam Tape. Seein 7. ) Attach the arness to vehicle harness at the position using the tie wrap (3 pieces). See in 7. e) nsert wire to here f) Tighten 3 3) Tap accessory wire. Remove tap (non-pierce) side from tap. Remove the protective stub from the wire. nsert wire through the non-pierce side opening. nsert wire through the non-pierce side opening. nsert wire into the tap body and ensure that it is all the way in. Tighten the tap TT with finger pressure. 8 e) Route the short arness along the vehicle harness, and attach the short arness to vehicle s harness using the Tie Wrap.See in i. Straight and evenly spaced all around ii. Tight and no gap and test the signal a) Accessory harness 4 5 4) Confirm the tapped accessory wire. nspect the tap to ensure correct installation. Test the signal to ensure that it is working properly. 5) Secure the tap. Secure the tapped wire on the non-pierce side to the body of the tap with electrical tape ( 2 revoluti ons). See in 9. )Connect arness to kick plate lamp unit harness. 2)Connect battery. 3)Check function.confirm JUK text illuminates when either door is open. 4) f OK, disconnect arness from kick plate harness. 5)f N, check harness. Do not pull harness beside the fuse. Repeat steps ) to 3) untill it is OK. 6)Disconnect battery. - / / - / /

5 NSTALLATON PROCDUR: NSTALLATON PROCDUR: Carpet 0 g) Flip the carpet of driver side. h) Route a long harness from the driver side to the passenger side through the center console under floor carpet. Shown in 0. i) Attach the long arness to floor using the Flat Wire Protector. ( 3 pieces). See in 0. Accelerator pedal 3 m) Function check. See in 3. )Connect arness to kick plate lamp unit harness. 2)Connect battery. 3)Check function.confirm JUK text illuminates when either door is open. 4) f OK, disconnect arness from kick plate harness. 5)f N, check harness. Do not pull harness beside the fuse. Repeat steps ) to 3) untill it is OK. 6)Disconnect battery. j) Flip the carpet of passenger side. k) Attach the long arness to floor using the Flat Wire Protector. ( 4 pieces). See in. Carpet 2 ) Route the long arness along the vehicle harness, and attach the long arness to vehicle' s harness using the Tie Wrap. ( piece). See in 2. 6) FRONT KCK PLAT NSTALLATON NOT: The procedure below shows the installlation for L side,repeat procedure for R side. 4 a) Clean the attachment area of kick plate A with 00 alcohol,then dry area with soft non linting towel. - / / - / /

6 NSTALLATON PROCDUR: NSTALLATON PROCDUR: Remove the vehicle weather strip near the kick plate. c) Paste the tape on the edge of arness protector,keep parallel. ) Paste the tape on the installation area 43mm from inner surface of the door flange. FR L KP arness protector 5 Weather strip 7) ARNSS CONNCTON NSTALLATON 7a a) Attach the Flat Wire Protector to vehicle flange.place the lamp harness ontopofthe Flat Wire Protector Attach the Flat Wire Protector,See in Fig. 7a. 43mm FR 43mm nner surface 43mm Outer surface Masking tape 6 7b Connect connector and apply the Urethane Foam tape on the connect section,see in Fig. 7b. FR L KP ) Pull the pull tab of the double-sided tape liner about 30mm to fold outside of the kick plate. See in 6. 7c ) Attach excess lamp harness to the vehicle harness with a Tie Wrap, See in 7c. 7 45mm 45mm NSTALLATON PROCDUR: 8) RAR KCK PLAT NSTALLATON NOT: The procedure below shows the installation for L side. Repeat procedure for R side. RR L KP FR 8a ) Fix a position ) Remove the vehicle weather strip near the kick plate. 2) Paste the tape to align with Line A. 3) Paste anther tape on the installation area 45mm from outer surface of the door flange. See in 8a. ACCSSORY CCK Connect the battery negative terminal and tighten the nut to appropriate torque. Check all Critical nstallation Steps. Check all torque values. (Reference related steps and figures) Verify all wiring is secure and not exposed. Trim all excess cable ties flush. Confirm "Juke" text illuminates when either door is open. 5 Nm 9 arness protector Weather strip Outer surface Line A nner surface Masking tape R- NSTALLATON OF RMOVD PARTS: Re-install all removed vehicle parts. Refer to the vehicle service manual for more details. Clean interior of vehicle. Use caution when re- installing interior components to avoid damage, scratch, or breaking of mounting clips. Refer to the vehicle service manual for more information. 8b ) nstallation L kick plate ) Pull the double-sided tape liner-pull tab of the kick plate. 2) Align kich plate tothe edge of the masking tape.press the kick plate on vehicle, then peel the liner from kick plate side. Press along the part to attach tape carefully to body. See in 8b / / - / /

8 FNAL NSPCTON: Verify re-installed trim parts for proper flush fit (no gap, no waviness, etc.). Verify all clips are fully engaged and locked. Verify re-installed trim parts are free from cracks, scratches or stress marks. Verify vehicle headliner,seat,steering wheel,center console,floor carpets,ect. not solied. Verify interior and exterior is not damaged. Turn ignition switch to "ON" and confirm proper operation of Vehicle Systems f equipped, verify all window and sunroof one touch operation and perform the reset procedure if necessary. Refer to the vehicle service manual for more details. Confirm proper audio function (AM, FM, SAT, CD and AUX). Re-program radio presets and other vehicle settings to the recorded settings. Start engine and verify that there are no new Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Turn ignition switch to "OFF". Place the Owner Manual, Quick Reference uide, and/or other Manual in the glove box hours - / /
