Security as standard An ear piercing 90dB built-in alarm is fitted as standard and sounds if the bottom of the door is forced up - the ultimate deterrent. The combination of side runners, extruded top and bottom lath and autopositive locking with anti-lift geometry locking straps makes Thermaglide77 extremely secure. Thermaglide77 is fully automated so there is no lock to pick or force! Rolling code technology in the control system ensures criminal code grabbing is eliminated. Whether you choose the standard mill finish guides or upgrade to matching guides and roll box the installation is incredibly neat and compact - no wasted space inside your garage! Practical high performance Remote control as standard makes operation effortless. The door is practical too - vertical travel allows park right up convenience inside and out and provides maximum drive through width and height for MPV s and 4x4 s gaining up to 150mm when replacing a conventional door and frame. It also allows the door to fit garage openings of all shapes and sizes. Foam filled aluminium laths help insulate against heat loss and noise, ideal if your garage is under a bedroom or you use your garage space as a workroom. 12 Accessorise your door Accessories and options Automated as standard, the features of Thermaglide77 and Thermaglide 55 are already at luxury level. To further enhance day-to-day use the range of control options provides extra flexibility. WIRELESS RADIO KEY SWITCH Externally wall mounted, key operated opening/closing without the hand transmitter. A wired version is also available. Automation Options PARKING SENSOR A light beam detects your vehicle in the opening and the LED s on the display unit flash repeatedly, changing to continuously lit once your vehicle is clear and it is safe to close the door. A beam break is required to provide the signal. KEYFOB TRANSMITTERS Doors are supplied with two transmitters as standard. Additional handsets can be added anytime. The handset is simple to use yet rich in extra features. It has up, down and stop buttons and activates and deactivates the alarm. The grey button toggles through the 8 available channels which can be used to control any compatible device such as a gate operator or lighting. The transmitter can also be used to add and delete transmitters. RADIO DIGITAL KEYLESS ENTRY PAD Externally wall mounted, will accept a 4 to 13 digit code to operate door for opening/closing without the hand transmitter. A secure method of operation. DOOR STATUS INDICATOR AND SWITCH This unit is wired to the control unit and provides LED indication of the position of the door - open, closed and intermediate. The unit incorporates a switch to operate the door. WIRELESS INTERNAL SWITCH Complementing standard light switches the wireless switch can be mounted inside the garage or home for wireless operation of the door. A wired version is also available, shown right. BEAM BREAK Used as an additional non-contact safety feature. The beam break will halt the door while in motion if the invisible beam is interrupted. BATTERY BACK UP The intelligent system can be set to provide standby power for up to one hundred days. During a power failure the unit will have enough power to provide at least eight complete open and close operations. GATE CONTROL RELAY UNIT The relay unit allows automatic gates to be activated by Thermaglide s remote control transmitter. AUTO-CLOSE MODULE For total confidence that your door has not been left open, the auto-close module automatically closes the garage door after an adjustable time period. Must be installed with a beam break. 12

MANUAL EXTERIOR RELEASE KIT For use in emergencies or in the event of a power failure, allows the door to be operated manually from outside the garage - essential if the garage has no other entry point. LOCKABLE OVERRIDE COVER To prevent the manual override being used to gain unauthorized entry to the garage on externally fitted doors. Easyglide spring assisted operation ensures large and small doors alike are light and easy to operate. Nylon webbing keeps the door running smoothly for years without oiling or greasing. Secure The horizontal steel ribbed design is extremely strong. Multi-point locking with hardened steel locking bars keep the door securely closed. The attractive handle also contains the lock for the hardened steel locking bars. The Rollguard option gives added protection against forced entry. A durable simple solution Thermatec weathersealing ensures the doors are effective barriers to the elements. The aluminium bottom rail and galvanized side guides ensure corrosion is eliminated. The Steel-line Mini is perfect when the space to fit is tight. The door uses a smaller barrel which creates a more compact roll requiring just 229mm of headroom for installation, or 330mm for a completely clear drive through height. It has all the attributes of it s bigger brother - finishes, secure locking, ease of operation and is available in Widths 1880mm mm and a height of 2134mm. 16 Accessorise your door Automation Remote control operation of your door is effortless with the Steel-line Slim Drive operator (shown right) and the Steel-line Uni-Lift operator (shown below). The operators can be fitted at a later date but why wait! Reliable power The operators have motors proven for reliability and require the minimum of space. Safe, convenient An auto reverse feature immediately stops the door if it comes into contact with any obstructions and an integral courtesy light illuminates the garage for safety and security. Rolling code technology ensures excellent security, generating a unique encrypted rolling code whenever the transmitter is operated. Supplied with two, four channel hand transmitters. The Steel-line Slim Drive is an integrated unit with motor, control and light all in one compact unit, along with a range of advanced features. The Steel-line Uni-Lift operator control and light unit is independent from the motor for convenient wall mounting. Steel bracings are concealed by a flat white backing panel for a neat finish* Sectional Plus 40 The Sectional plus 40 has all the good looks of the standard Sectional plus range, but features a fully insulated double skinned construction, which makes it the ultimate sectional garage door. Integral to the Sectional plus 40 is a flat white G.R.P. panel bonded to the rear of the door*. Two security levels All shutters have an extruded anti-lever aluminium bottom lath. The Rolla44 shutter curtain is constructed from roll formed, foam filled aluminium lath which is ideal for domestic shading and low security applications. The Xtra44 profile offers higher security with all extruded high strength aluminium laths to the shutter curtain. Xtra44 44mm extruded aluminium profile for applications requiring a higher level of resistance to attack. Protectaline shutters employ 53mm guide channels in extruded aluminium with a box section for secure fixing to masonry. A 66mm profile is available for increased security applications. 27 Security Gate Systems Physical barrier, visible deterrent S E C U R I T Y G A T E S Y S T E M S Attractive lattice, inherent strength Protecting vulnerable doors and windows with collapsible security gates is an attractive alternative to shutters. Biparting or single leaf gates allow excellent light passage and, on a summers day, allow ventilation whilst maintaining security. Powder coated in white, the gates fold discretely behind drapes when open. The attractive lattice design is a strong and visible deterrent to intruders. The 2 point slam latch locking is operated by a quality cylinder lock and is protected by an anti-jemmy profile. A lift up bottom track is available to provide a clear threshold to patio doors when the gates are open. Lattice row The attractive lattice design is available with a lift up bottom track for a clear threshold when open. Gates comprise of one, two or three rows of lattices dependent on gate height. Powder coated in white, the bars free rotate in the robust framing sections which makes hacksaw attack difficult. The 20mm bars are set at 125mm centres to provide maximum integrity with minimum light loss. Bar units are available up to 2500mm square and can run vertically or horizontally. 32 Product guarantees Subject to conditions set out below; (a) Steel-line Security Products ranges is guaranteed against any form of manufacturing defect for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase. (b) Steel-line Security Products also guarantee that its garage doors will operate safely and reliably for a period of 10 years from original installation. (c) Steel-line Security Products electric operators are guaranteed against any form of manufacturing defect for a period of 5 years for mechanical elements, motors and transformers and for a period of 2 years for other electronic and radio equipment. (d) The Exterior finish is guaranteed to provide an effective weatherproof membrane which will resist perforation of the substrate from the weather side due to corrosion for the periods indicated below. 10 years - Thermaglide, Steel-line and Sectional Plus. 2 years - Protectaline Security Shutters, Protectagrille Security Gates and Protectabar Security Bars (e) Colour change or fade to the exterior surface will be limited and uniform for a period of 2 years. 1. During the comprehensive 2 year guarantee period Steel-line Security Products undertake to repair or replace (at its discretion), and without charge, products or components which have suffered any form of manufacturing defect. Claims must be notified within 3 days from the date of delivery or within a reasonable time after discovery of any defect. 2. Products covered by these guarantees must have been purchased through an authorised Steel-line Security Products distributor or as original equipment attached to a newly built dwelling. 3 The warranties shall apply for normal use only. Normal use constitutes no more than 5 operations (open/close cycles) per day. 4. The warranties offered attach to the Steel-line Security Products product only and no consequential damages will apply no matter how caused. 5. No liability will be accepted as a result of normal wear and tear, incorrect storage, incorrect handling, faulty installation, incorrect use or wilful damage. 6. Claims under this guarantee must be made through the original supplier and accompanied by relevant documentation indicating the date of purchase (e.g. receipt). 7. Steel-line Security Products maximum liability shall be the original purchase price inclusive of Value Added Tax at the rate prevailing when supplied. 8. Any product which is the subject of a claim: i) must have been correctly installed in accordance with the installation instructions supplied and thereafter properly maintained by a suitably experienced engineer on a regular basis as set out in the Maintenance and Operating Instructions provided with every shutter. (Additional copies of these instructions are available by calling ). ii) must have the manufacturers reference number still intact (found on the barcode label on the door) iii) must not have been modified in any way. 9. Claims will not be accepted where the cause is due to: i) impact or mechanical damage suffered during or following installation, e.g scratches, indentations, tears, scuffs or other surface abrasion. ii) damage or discolouration caused by contact with any form of caustic, abrasive or corrosive substance, fumes, bird droppings, fire, smoke, floodwater, salts, acids, or from exposure to abnormal atmospheric pollution. 10. This guarantee excludes normal wear and tear on items such as cones, cables, spindles, lock cylinders, hinges or springs. 11. Only Steel-line original spare parts must be used when required. The use of non-steel-line parts shall invalidate this guarantee. Warranty period for replacement parts is 6 months or the balance of the original warranty period if greater. 12. The Exterior Finish Guarantee applies only to the weatherside surface and where more than 5% of the surface area of the door is affected. Surfaces must be freely exposed to washing by rainfall and kept clear of accumulated dirt and debris and given equal exposure to local environmental conditions and consistent natural lighting conditions across the face of the door. Special attention is drawn to Clause (9) (ii). Marking may occur to either side of the roller door or shutter curtain over time due to the rolling nature of operation. This does not affect the performance of the door and is not part of the guarantee. 13. The guarantee period for electric operators excludes fuses, batteries or bulbs. 14. Parts replaced free of charge become the property of Steel-line Security Products. 15. Attempted repairs by non-qualified individuals shall invalidate this guarantee. 16. The specific terms of this guarantee shall only apply to products purchased on or after May 2008 within the UK and Eire. 17. Steel-line Security Products security shutters and associated products are sold subject to Steel-line Security Products Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale, copies of which are available upon request. Steel-line Security Products shall not be liable as a result of any representation, implied warranty or other term or condition or for any consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims whatsoever except as expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions of Sale. Other performance issues affecting Sectional Plus garage doors are: Sectional Plus G.R.P. doors are individually handcrafted products manufactured to specific customer order. Due to the nature of the product and the hand finishing processes used they may occasionally display small blemishes which do not detract from the overall appearance of the product. These are regarded as being within manufacturers tolerance when such blemishes are not visible to the naked eye when viewed from a distance of three metres. Similarly, Woodgrain effect products will, like the natural material, display colour variations across their surface and colour will vary from door to door. Ordering doors to match helps reduce the variation but will not eradicate it entirely. Translucency of the door panel may vary when viewed from the inside on a bright day due to variations in laminate thickness. This does not represent a manufacturing defect and overall performance is not affected. Please note due to photographic and printing processes actual door colours may vary from those shown.
