Here, pre-torque is applied until the specified value is reached (trigger torque value). When the pre-torque value is reached, this automatically triggers the EDSα to begin the rotationangle method. The bolting process is completed once the nut is rotated to the previously entered angle. System accuracy is dependant on bolt length ratio of at least lk/d > 1.5 by the bolt. (lk = clamping length, d = bolt diameter). ITH Documentation System The ITH-Documentation System allows for easy, digital management of all custom data associated with the tightening process including bolt size, bolt quality, torque or application values, and bolt and personnel identification numbers. Data is entered and saved via the multifunction display of the EDS, and readout with a PC via USB port afterwards.
