6 Non Contacting System (NCS) - Serving all applications Alarm Module Limit Switch Module SIA Module (Slot Initiator) NEW: Internal NCS SIPART PS2 can be upgraded by different modules. The new wear free incs will be mounted in same slot as the Alarm-, Mechanical Limit Switch- and SIA Module. Page 6

7 How does it work? The internal NCS module is located just below the mainboard. The actual valve position is transferred via the mounting kit across the feedback shaft of the SIPART PS2. The feedback shaft drives the mounted magnet which is located on top of the shaft. The rotation of the magnet relates to a direction change of the magnet field vector. Finally the magnetic sensor on the incs modul translates the vector movement into an electrical signal. The technical data are conform the existing partturn external NCS System. The incs is based on the proven design and technology of the successful external NCS. Page 7
