5 PASTIC FITERS Y FITERS Irritec filters allow the best filtering protection for any irrigation system. Their simple and safe frame, the result of an accurate construction technology, minimise the need for maintenance. These filters can withstand pressure changes and external stress, and their main feature is the strong and flexible filtering element. Tightness is ensured also at high pressures, and the filtering elements deliver optimum filtering efficiency. The wide range of filtering grades (20 to 450 mesh) can meet all filtering requirements. T FITERS Made from reinforced polyamide, Irritec T filters and Rotofilters are suitable for both inline and angle installation. The two different closing systems, the different combinations and dimensions of the filtering elements and the available filtering grades allow you to choose always the most suitable system for every filtering need. TWIN FITER The new Irritec filters Twin Rotofilter are made from reinforced polyamide with fiber glass and are characterized by a high filering surface. The closing system with S.S. clamp ensures a perfect seal keeping practicality during maintenance. The different models and dimensions of the filtering element and the available filtering grades allow you to choose always the most suitable system for every filtering need. AUTOMATIC PASTIC FITERS The Automatic Rotodisk filter is a T filter made from polyamide reinforced with fiber glass, provided with a special mechanical-hydraulic system for the automatic backwashing. The Automatic Rotodisk filters, when assembled as a battery of filters and used with suitable hydraulic valves and control unit, maintain a continuous irrigation cycle and reduce the waste of water and the maintenance of the filtering station. Available in single and double head (twin) with capacities ranging from 24 to 64 m 3 /h. The wide range of collectors available (from 3 to 12 ) and the various possible configurations (from 2 to 14 filters) can reach capacities up to 640 m 3 /h filtering catalog 5

56 META FITERS - SAND SEPARATOR EIV Applications ydro-cyclone filters are used for irrigation water from wells, rivers and lakes, with a considerable amount of suspended sand. The tangential entry of water generates a whirling motion with a centrifugal movement which enables the separation of water and heavy particles. Due to the difference in density, in fact, the water will come out from the top while the heavier sand will precipitate to the centre of the whirlpool accumulating in the specific container beneath. On the bottom of the cone there is a reduction that protects the filters from wear caused by the abrasive action of the sand. The reduction is easily replaceable during routine maintenance operations. Such filters can be equipped with a storage container which allows storage of the separated sand, and discharge it thanks to the the opening of a valve (manual/electric) at constant intervals.
