SALLIS is a new technology that enables you to link your existing access control system to the SALTO SALLIS wireless platform by utilising the existing access control network infrastructure and door controllers. Through the use of a simple integration SALLIS provides all the capability of an online access control system at virtually any door type without the need for complex wiring. Except for the simple software used to initially configure the system, no SALTO software is required for management of the SALLIS locks. With the SALLIS battery operated wireless locking system you can experience a real-time online access control solution without the need for cabling at the door.

4 04. SALTO SALLIS System The new SALLIS online wireless solution is the next step in battery operated access control. It is designed for use in low consumption applications by businesses that need the latest in high level real-time access control without the need for wiring, and perfectly compliments the existing hardwired solutions from the access control company to reach virtually any kind of door. How does it work? The system consists of 4 elements that interact with each other to deliver the architecture of the system. The HOST, is the access control panel where all the information related to access is hosted (users, time periods, calendars etc). The wireless locking devices are the core of the locking system itself and enable control of the doors without need for complex wiring installations. The SALTO Nodes are the wireless messengers between the SALTO Router and the Wireless locks. The SALTO Routers are the link between the host and the rest of the platform and enable communication with the wireless system. and benefits Completely integrated with the Access Control Company platform making it easy to customize to your exact needs even in existing projects that are already running with your system. Computer managed through the Access Control Company Software that permits: The solving of key management problems in real-time with a simple mouse click. SALLIS escutcheons receive key cancelling information over the air and remove cancelled keys from the system in realtime. Receive audit trail information in real-time and view door access without having to visit the door. Real-time door control: This includes door alarm, intrusion alarm, single lockdown and remote door opening. Real-time battery control enables maintenance to view escutcheon power status in real-time. Perform changes on the door as it if was one or your wired readers. Highly secure meets RF IEEE at 2,4Ghz Standard and is AES 128Bit encrypted. The SALLIS escutcheons continue to operate offline with 2 customizable behaviours (based on audit trail or on emergency codes) if the network crashes enabling users to access the building normally.. No SALTO software required (except for the setup software that can be removed afterwards).

5 Communication flow The user badges his credential at the SALTO SALLIS lock. In a fraction of a second, the lock will send the relevant information (customizable) cached from the users credential to the SALTO wireless Nodes. The response time of the system is virtually instantaneous, even if the infrastructure is down, avoiding any inconvenience for users. The information sent from the Nodes will be routed to the host through the SALTO Router. The host will take the decision based on the information received (UID) and the access control plan. The result will be sent back to the SALLIS locks through the SALTO SALLIS infrastructure and the user will be granted or denied access by the locks accordingly. SALLIS XS4 Electronic Escutcheons SALLIS Electronic Escutcheons SALLIS XS4 is the new access control platform from SALTO enabling users to control and manage a greater range of applications than ever before. Smart, secure and innovative, SALLIS XS4 handle sets need no hard wiring and provide a totally wirefree networked electronic locking solution with a great range of features. The XS4-40 narrow version and the XS4-67 wide body version are specially designed to fit on most doors, and work with the majority of European, Scandinavian and ANSI mortise locks and many tubular latches.

It is designed for use on busy, high-traffic doors that need additional strength. XS4 DIN wide body version SALTO has developed this new stand-alone electronic escutcheon to meet the requirements of DIN standard doors prepared for DIN standard mortise locks. 12 SALLIS XS4 Escutcheons XS4 Complementary escutcheon Designed to maintain the aesthetics of a door that does not need to be controlled, the new SALTO XS4 complementary escutcheon is available in a range of designs but contains no access control electronics. Handles XS4 offers a wide choice of functional and styled design handles suitable for use on any type of door. Many of the lever handles have been designed to meet the latest DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) requirements, ensuring they are simple and easy to operate. 12. 13 Finishes SALTO offers a wide range of finishes to choose from, including PVD coating and RAL colours. All finishes for handles and cover plates are made of stainless steel, including the PVD and antique brass finishes. The exception is the O handle which is made of brass with a PVD coating and the cover plates made of stainless steel with a PVD coating.
