1 FANs 268.1, Product Bulletin M100Q Issue Date 1099 M100Q Series Proportional Actuator with R81Q Controller Board for Thermistor Sensor Applications The M100Q is a temperature-controlled unit for use with an A91/T91 Thermistor Sensor to position dampers and valves in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) applications. There are three models with setpoint ranges of 40 to 90 F (4 to 32 C), 15 to 50 F (-9 to 10 C), and 60 to 120 F (16 to 49 C). Each has an adjustable proportional band of 2 to 30 F (1 to 17 C) minimum. The R81QAA-x is compatible with Johnson Controls thermistor-type sensors. Use A91 Thermistor Sensors for direct mixed air control or T91 Thermistor Room Thermostats for ventilation only systems. A maximum of nine additional M100J actuators may be precision slaved. Each will require a separate transformer. 4 Repair and Replacement The drive and gear train are immersed in oil and sealed in a die cast case, so maintenance is not necessary. Make no field repairs, except for replacement of the R81Q electronics kit.
