Section 1 AEL PlanRad Flat face, High Output Central Heating Radiators. Fabricated from high grade, mild steel plate, AEL PlanRad radiators are of the smooth flat face panel concept and are suitable for commercial, industrial and domestic applications. They are high performance, high output heat emitters delivering both natural convection and radiant warmth, and are designed for use within indirect central heating systems. They are not suitable for use within direct hot water systems. The hot water supply flows with ease through unrestricted, corrugated, rear ribbed sections, and against the face panels, providing cost-effective efficiency and, due to rapid heat-up, fuel saving energy conservation. Unobtrusive and pleasing to the eye, AEL Plan-Rads come complete with end cover plates, and attractive top outlet grilles. The standard finish for radiators up to 80 sections (2966mm) is a high grade epoxy powder coating, Satin white (RAL9010) Radiators over 80 sections in length are supplied in a Primer finish. Radiators can be be supplied in Syntha Pulvin colours if preferred. (Radiators up to 3000mm in length only). Models and Technical Data Two straight-run designs one single, and one double. Angled radiators can be custom-made to order. Rear, ribbed sections are made from 1.2mm mild steel. Standard finish RAL9010 satin white up to 80 sections. LST Model available. Face panels of all models are made from 1.5mm mild steel. Radiators over 80 sections supplied in primer. Model PS42 single radiator of this size delivers 422 Watts (1440 Btu/h). Therefore, 422 Watts x 1.85 = 780.70 Watts (2664 Btu/h).

Wall fixing LST-Rad. This design has grilles on the top only Made from high grade mild steel plate, they are finished as standard in a satin white (RAL 9010) coating, but can be supplied in Syntha Pulvin colours if preferred. Quality aluminium grilles are incorporated as standard, and intermediate linking sections can be provided to present the appearance of a continuous, radiator line. AEL LST-Rads are robust, unobtrusive, and can be relied upon to provide years of problem free service. Floor fixing LST-Rad. This unit has grilles at floor level and at the top. Casings to suit Double Radiators, multiply the prices listed by a factor of 2. For LST Casing Height see row A For Radiator heights that the casings will contain see row B Floor Mounting Version There are 9 standard lengths, therefore each enclosure will fit a number of PlanRads (see column 2). For longer enclosures each enclosure may be joined to its neighbour by the use of open ended end panels.
