Specifications M1V Ball valves for low pressure steam service shall be Spirax Sarco three piece type M1V with zinc plated forged carbon steel / stainless steel bodies and screwed/socket weld/butt weld or flanged ANSI 15 connections. They shall have an austenitic stainless steel ball and stem with virgin PTFE seats and R-PTFE seals respectively, and be available in full bore (¼"- 2") and reduced bore (¼"- 2½") versions and all stainless steel construction. They shall be able to operate on steam service up to 1 bar g (183 C) and be suitable for steam, condensate, water, oil, air, gas, and other process fluids. Screwed versions shall be able to be serviced without disconnecting the valve from the pipeline. They shall be optionally available in oval handle, extended stem, lockable handle and self venting versions. They shall comply to leakage standard ISO 528 rate A leakage test requirements, i.e. no visible leakage, and have an antistatic capability to ISO 7121 and BS 5351. They shall be capable of being automated by means of a pneumatic single or double acting rotary actuator and suitable linkage kit. M1S Ball valves for medium pressure steam service shall be Spirax Sarco three piece type M1S with zinc plated forged carbon steel / stainless steel bodies and screwed/socket weld/butt weld or flanged PN4/ANSI 15/ANSI 3 connections. They shall have an austenitic stainless steel ball and stem with R-PTFE seats and seals with a Belleville washer, and shall be available in full bore (¼"- 2") and reduced bore (¼"- 2½") versions and optional all stainless steel construction. They shall be able to operate on steam service up to 17.5 bar g (28 C) and be suitable for steam, condensate, water, oil, air, gas, and other process fluids. Screwed versions shall be able to be serviced without disconnecting the valve from the pipeline. They shall conform to ISO 528 rate A leakage test requirements, i.e. no visible leakage, and have an antistatic capability to ISO 7121 and BS 5351. They shall be optionally available in oval handle, extended stem, lockable handle, self venting, and in ISO mounting versions. They shall be capable of being automated by means of a pneumatic single or double acting rotary actuator and suitable linkage kit. M1F Ball valves for firesafe service shall be Spirax Sarco three piece type M1F with zinc plated forged carbon steel bodies and end caps held with eight totally enclosed bolts to ASTM A 193. They shall have an austenitic stainless steel ball and stem with R-PTFE seats and R-PTFE / graphite seals with a Belleville washer, and shall be available in full bore (¼" - 2") and reduced bore (¼"- 2½") versions and screwed/socket weld/butt weld connections. They shall be able to operate on steam service up to 15 bar g (2 C) and be suitable for steam, condensate, water, oil, air, gas, and other process fluids specifically in fire risk areas. They shall conform to BS 6755 Part 2 and API Spec 6FA firesafe standards, and ISO 528 rate A leakage test requirements, i.e. no visible leakage, and have an antistatic capability to ISO 7121 and BS 5351. They shall be optionally available in self venting and ISO mounting versions. The ISO mounting version shall be capable of being automated by means of a pneumatic single or double acting rotary actuator and suitable linkage kit. M1H ISO Ball valves for high pressure steam service shall be Spirax Sarco three piece type M1H ISO with zinc plated forged carbon steel bodies They shall have an austenitic stainless steel ball and stem with PEEK seats and seals with a Belleville washer, and shall be available in full bore (¼"- 1½") and reduced bore (¼"- 2") versions and screwed/socket weld/butt weld connections. They shall be able to operate on steam service up to 34 bar g (242 C) and be suitable for steam, condensate, water, oil, air, gas, and other process fluids. They shall conform to ISO 528 rate A leakage test requirements, i.e. no visible leakage. They shall be optionally available in self venting versions. The valve body shall have an ISO mounting as standard and shall be capable of being automated by means of a pneumatic single or double acting rotary actuator and suitable linkage kit. M2 Ball valves for low and medium pressure steam service shall be Spirax Sarco single piece reduced bore type M2 with zinc plated cast carbon steel/stainless steel bodies to ANSI 3 design conditions, and having PN4 or ANSI 15 / ANSI 3 flanged connections in sizes DN25 - DN15.
