The keel and keel bolts removed and replaced by new. An extensive number of skin planks were replaced by new, new reinforcing members were introduced and new planks were laid on the entire deck area. Complete new arrangement of living areas panel with solid oak effected during 1998. New wooden (oak) furniture was installed internally during 1998. The underwater hull was re-caulked and nailed and treated adequately with fillers, primers and anti fouling. The topsides were also re-nailed caulked and meticulously painted. New bow sprit was fitted and connected to hull. The superstructure and the bridge are of new construction.

Completely new electric installation for 24 V and 220 V was carried out during installation of generators. Both generators were visually inspected and found in good condition. During trial operation the rudder found to perform satisfactorily both directions. The davits were found in good condition free of obvious cracks or bending. GENERAL REMARKS Upon completion of survey it was ascertained that the vessel, her machinery and equipment are in very good condition, meticulously maintained and upgraded. More specifically: The structural condition of the hull, decks and superstructure are very good, extensively maintained while important structural members such as fore and aft systems and keel are fitted new. The main engines, their connections and the propeller shaft system were found in good condition. The machinery and systems inspected were mostly new fitted in 1998. The vast majority of equipment installed on board are new fitted in 1998. The mast, rigging and sails are new of good standards. The living areas of the vessel have good aesthetics and are decorated with expensive items and material. No recommendations were made to the owner with regard to improvements, repairs or maintenance of vessel, machinery, systems or equipment.
