Energy management system (EMS) Highest energy efficiency and functional safety Modular Using the energy and power optimally The HOPPECKE energy management system (EMS) ensures highest energy efficiency as well as highest operational and functional safety of energy storage systems in all application areas. The data of individual components like room temperature, battery data (lead and lithium) as well as the data of the inverter and the network are recorded using data monitoring systems. These measure and save the cell voltages, temperatures and current as well as all essential parameters round-the-clock. All determined data is processed and stored in the central energy management system of the energy storage system. In critical cases, e.g. on overshooting the maximum values, corrective measures are initiated to bring the affect modules back to the normal status or to execute a safety shutdown. At the same time, the energy management system processes the data and determines the essential measures. Communication with the higher-level controller of the customer takes place via any desired external protocol.
