Instrument Panel Head-Up Display Projects a virtual, transparent image onto the windshield when the vehicle is on which allows you to view information while keeping your eyes on the road. pq s Head-up display HUD Turning the Display On or Off Press the HUD to turn the display on or off. Press the p or q to adjust the display position on the windshield. Press and hold the HUD to display the brightness level. Press the p or q to adjust the brightness. Changing the Display Choose what content to display. Use the right selector wheel on the steering wheel to make and enter selections. 1. Scroll to the Head-Up Display Content screen, and select it. Display options are shown in the head-up display and the MID. 2. Scroll through the display options, and select your choice. Driving-Related Displays Below are the main display options shown on the head-up display. VEHICLE CONTROLS Heated Steering Wheel Heat the steering wheel to a comfortable temperature when the vehicle is on. Press the heated steering wheel. Press the again to turn it off.
Steering Wheel Controls AUDIO AND CONNECTIVITY Operate certain functions of the audio system using the steering wheel controls. SOURCE : Cycle through available audio modes. Left selector wheel: Roll up or down to adjust volume. Press to mute. Move (or hold) left or right to change stations or tracks. Left selector wheel SOURCE FM/AM/SiriusXM Radio Move right or left for the next or previous station. Move and hold right or left for the next or previous strong station. CD/HDD/iPod/USB/ Bluetooth Audio Move right or left for the next or previous track. Move and hold right or left for the next or previous folder (CD/USB). Pandora Move right for the next song. Move and hold right or left for the next or previous station.
NAVIGATION NAVIGATION Learn how to enter a destination and operate the navigation system. Basic Navigation Operation A real-time navigation system uses GPS and a map database to show your current location and help guide you to a desired destination. You can operate the system using voice commands or the system controls. To reduce the potential for driver distraction, certain manual functions may be inoperable or grayed out while the vehicle is moving. Voice commands are always available. Steering Wheel Controls Use the steering wheel controls to give voice commands. Hang-Up/Back : Press to cancel a command or operation. Talk : Press to say voice commands. Back Talk Talk Button Tips When using the Talk, wait until you hear a beep before speaking. To bypass the system prompts, simply press the Talk again to say your command. When the Talk is pressed, all available voice commands are highlighted in yellow. Speak in a clear, natural voice. Reduce all background noise. Adjust the dashboard vents away from the microphone in the ceiling. Close the windows and moonroof. WARNING Using the navigation system while driving can take your attention away from the road, causing a crash in which you could be seriously injured or killed. Only operate system controls when the conditions permit you to safely do so.
DRIVING Sequential Mode Use the paddle shifters to change between 1st and 7th gears without removing your hands from the steering wheel. (-) Paddle shifter: Pull to shift down to a lower gear. (+) Paddle shifter: Pull to shift up to a higher gear. M (sequential mode) indicator Sequential mode gear indicator Gear position indicator When D is selected: The vehicle goes into sequential shift mode momentarily, and the gear indicator comes on. When you start driving at a constant speed, sequential shift mode automatically switches off, and the gear indicator goes off. Hold the (+) paddle shifter for two seconds to return to normal drive. When D is selected (with SPORT mode): The vehicle goes into sequential shift mode, and the M (sequential shift) indicator and gear indicator come on. Shift gears up or down using the paddle shifters. To cancel this mode, press the SPORT or pull the (+) paddle shifter for a few seconds. When sequential shift mode is canceled, the M indicator and gear indicator go off.
