To meet this challenge, Goodyear has designed a complete range of specially constructed tires to provide optimum treadwear, traction, and cut resistance. High Strength Casings The body of a Goodyear bias mine tire is composed of a specially processed 3-T nylon cord, which provides superior fatigue and bruise resistance. The Goodyear radial mine tire incorporates steel cable for ultimate strength and cut resistance. Tough Tread Compounds Goodyear has developed a family of abrasion and ultra abrasion resistant compounds, which greatly increase tread wear and resist cuts and snags.
