THIS LUMINIRE MUST E MOUNTED OR SUPPORTED INDEPENDENTLY OF N OUTLET OX. WLL MOUNT ONLY. To avoid the risk of fire, explosion, or electric shock, this product should be installed, inspected, and maintained by a qualified electrician only, in accordance with all applicable electrical codes. The equipment is required to be installed with metallic conduit or other wiring method acceptable for specific hazardous locations per NEC and CEC. To avoid electric shock: e certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance. Luminaire must be connected to a wiring system with an equipment-grounding conductor. POTENTIL ELECTROSTTIC CHRGING HZRD void electrostatic discharge : Clean Lens surface with damp cloth only To reduce the risk of ignition of hazardous atmospheres and to avoid electric shock, disconnect the luminaire from the supply circuit before opening for installation and servicing. Keep tightly closed when in operation. WLLPK INSTLLTION 1. Inspect shipping package and contents to ensure no damage has occurred during shipping. Step 2 2. Remove Wall racket from RS ox. 3. ssemble RS fixture ox to Head in desired configuration. *The main pivot bolt and arm to box fasteners are M6. **The angle adjustment bolts are M5. djustable in 15 increments Step 3 The RS Head must not face upwards by any degree beyond the vertical position for Class II, Division 2, and Zone 22 hazardous locations. LIGHT EM HORIZON 2-5
WLLPK INSTLLTION 4. Mount Wall racket to desired location. Step 4 *Ensure you use a minimum of two (2) 3/8 bolts to secure RS to wall surface. One in each of the upper and lower hole clusters. **Recommended to use four (4) in high wind and vibration environments. 1.5 38mm Step 5 4.3 111mm 5.9 150mm 5. Slide assembled fixture onto Wall racket. lign and mount lower four (4) M6 hardware first then proceed with top four (4) M6 bolts. djust Head angle if required. 6. Open RS ox lid. Step 6 7. Connect desired conduit/wire runs to the desired 3/4 NPT entry and run wire as per applicable standards for area of use. NOTE: To aid in assembly and protection against ingress use of a petrolatum or soap thickened mineral oil based thread lubricant/sealant is necessary. 3-5
WLLPK INSTLLTION 8. Connect in feed to labeled wires in RS box as per applicable standards for area of use. For connections to existing terminals use solid or stranded conductors 18-12 WG rated for a minimum of 90ºC. Step 9 Connect each branch circuit conductor into appropriate connectors. For dimming, connect 18WG conductors to dimming connection points. - Use Violet (+) & Gray (-) for connection to 0-10vDC. - Wiring Violet & Gray together provides mininimum light output. - Capping Violet & Gray separately provides 100% light output. - 0-10V interface can be wired as Class 1 or Class 2 Circuit. - Driver will source a maximum of 200μ for control needs. - Controller must sink current from the 0-10V control leads. Note: Dimming controls must be certified and suitable for the classification of the area of their installation. See last page for Wiring Diagram. 9. Close RS ox lid. Torque lids screws according to diagram. 8 4 10 70 in lbs 2 9 6 CESSORIES Optional 2-3/8 Tenon Pole Mount can be attached directly to the RS ox. To be utilized with 2-3/8" OD minimum pole. Secure to Pole with supplied 3x3/8" Hex bolts and Jam nuts. Torque to 200 in-lbs (16.7 ft-lbs). Note: Wiring inside of the pole shall comply with the wiring methods acceptable for the specific Hazardous Location per the NEC and CEC and shall terminate in the threaded entry surrounded by the mount. If pole mount is used only for support of the luminaire ensure that the entry surrounded by the mount is plugged. To aid in assembly and protection against ingress use of a petrolatum or soap thickened mineral oil based thread lubricant/- sealant is necessary. 7 1 3 5 10. Energize fixture. 4-5
