DESIGN SMOOTH AND ESSENTIAL LINES FOR A MASTERPIECE OF STYLE With Phoenix Pro simulator, Wave Italy sets a new style line in the simulation panorama distinguishing its product through unique and innovative lines. The carefully shaped cockpit authentically reproduces the cabin size of a Formula 1, while the external shapes make the product unique. We have deliberately hidden any moving or wiring part, visual imperfections, to allow the soft lines of the shell stand out, recalling, through a minimal design, the details of ground effect cars rear and the famous curved sides. 6

TECHNICAL ENGINEERING STUDY ADVANCED COMPONENTS Phoenix Pro is designed and built with light but resistant materials, such as aluminum and carbon. Precision engineering ensures the best of the simulation performance, while all hardware appliances are designed to transmit the feeling of a real car to the racer. Everything contributes to make the driving experience unique: from innovative belt system and seatback to simulate active braking and acceleration, to the tachisensibile steering wheel, to the brake set to 100kg of thrust, up to highly advanced electronics and software. The pedals and the seat are adjustable to accommodate drivers of all sizes and ages, allowing them to get in the real position of Formula 1 pilots. A sophisticated vibratory system faithfully reproduces the roughness of the track and the curbs, exponentially increasing the rider s feeling. Finally, a Dolby 5.1 audio system equipped with ERS transmits the authentic sound ofturbo cars, involving the rider even more. 11
TECHNICAL IT'S NOT JUST A STEERING WHEEL Modern Formula 1 cars are the most sophisticated in the world,electronic controls are responsible for managing the entire car, while on-board systems are 10 times more powerful than those used to send the first man into space. The tool in the hands of pilots, which allows to handle all this information is the steering wheel, which contains so many buttons it could give an aircraft pilot a hard time. Historically, single seater s steering wheels descended from series production cars because the only thing they served for was directing the vehicle. The real revolution happened in the 90s, with the advent of electronics control. Through specific buttons it can activate different control systems, while the selectors allow to handle functions such as the brake s 12
balance, the engine s mapping, the mix air-petrol supply and the traction control. Phoenix Pro simulator s steering wheel allows the user to select different levels of difficulty of the driving experience: from the basic level in which all electronic drive controls are active, up to the extreme one, without any electronic aid, just like in a real Formula 1 single seater. The exclusive 5 display developed by Wave Italy for its simulators is the communication interface between the pilot and the virtual vehicle. 13

TECHNICAL PEDAL UNIT WITH ULTRA REALISTIC REACTION MATERIALS The pedal is made entirely of aluminum to ensure maximum strength and precision through time. SETTING The size adjustment is fully customizable. The inclination of each pedal can be adjusted by the user as well as the position of pedal plates; it is also possible to set the distance between the pedals, for a completely customized driving experience. The sill allows you to adjust the position of the heels, while the support base ensures the ergonomic adjustment angle leg / ankle and is movable to find the maximum driving comfort. FORCES ADJUSTMENT The operating force applied on the accelerator is adjustable to 7 different values according to the user s needs. The brake data are calibrated on the telemetric curve of real Formula 1 single seater to ensure an ultra realisitic feedback. The brake, equipped with a professional load cell, allows an operating pressure up to 500 Kg and a force on the pedal up to 100kg. 15
