For BACK glide adjustment Leveling the Case 1. Adjust front two () glides to level the case. Adjust using a 1-/8" wrench. 7/" SOCKET. Adjust back two () glides; first relieve weight from the glide. Adjust using a 7/" socket driver. For proper stability, adjust glides until unit is level. GLIDE CAUTION: If this unit is not ganged, counterweights may be required. See assembly instruction 9950445. 1 Ganging CAUTION: Cabinets must be counterweighted and/or ganged for proper stability. 1. Drill Holes Drill two () holes in the side of top.. Alignment Slide cases together. Make sure units are level and square for proper alignment of holes.. Ganging Secure units with two () nuts and bolts. 4. Ganging Wood Units For wood units, secure units using self-drilling screws. Screw through front and rear channels of the inner sides. 4 Wood Version Page 4 of 0

7 6 Shelf Installation 1a 5 4 1 1. Insert all four (4) brackets in position shown. Note: Bracket can be installed in two () different orientations. This gives /4" adjustment increments in cabinet.. Place shelf on top of brackets. Make sure the shelf falls onto detail on bracket. The shelf has two () positions in the case. If the door hits the shelf when it is closed, move the shelf to the rearward position. Rear position is used for flush units. Adjusting the Hinges 1. This screw adjusts the door in the HORIZONTAL or "A" direction.. This screw adjusts the door in the FRONT TO BACK (depth), or "B" direction.. This screw adjusts the door in the VERTICAL or "C" direction. C A 1 B Page 6 of 0

CLICK! a SLOTS IN CABINET Installing Glass Doors CAUTION: This is tempered glass. Doors will shatter if casually impacted on hard surfaces. Do not set edges of glass on hard surfaces such as concrete. Hold glass at the edges, not the hinges. While one person can do the glass installation and removal, it is strongly recommended that a second person assists by supporting the glass while the hinges are engaged and disengaged. Adjust shelves to desired positions.. Attach mounting plate to hinge.. Locate the mounting brackets in the appropriate slots (a) and install screw as shown (b). 4. Assemble all hinge mounting plates with two () screws and tighten. Note: Flush mounted doors use the rear set of holes. Proud mounted doors use the forward set of holes. 4 Page 7 of 0

Cable Installation 1a Note: Vertical cable management cannot be done in a stacked cabinet. 1. Vertical cable management Install cableway by peeling off the adhesive strip (1a) and placing it into the back corner of the cabinet (1b). Alternative Cableway Location 4 TOP GROMMET. Horizontal cable/cord routing through base Cables may be passed through the rear of the base through single or multiple units. 1b CABLEWAY. Vertical cable/cord routing through the base Cable may enter the unit through the base. Make sure to put cable into cableway to prevent damage to the cable. 4. Vertical cable/cord routing through the case exiting through the top Cable may enter the unit through the base and the top grommet. CAUTION: Failure to follow the installation instructions will cause inability to install lock. 1 PLASTIC PLUG COVER Removal of Plastic Lock Plug and Installation of Lock Cylinder 1. Pull open plastic plug cover.. While pressing the plug retainer tab to the right, insert a coin or the head of a key into the slot and turn 90 o clockwise. This will unlock the case. You will hear the lock mechanism open. CAUTION: Make sure you unlock the case BEFORE proceeding to step. TURN 90 o PLUG RETAINER TAB COIN OR HEAD OF KEY. Push plug retainer tab down and remove plastic plug from parent unit. 4. Position lock cylinder tab at 45 o or :00 position. Insert lock cylinder at a tilted angle so the tab will collapse. CAUTION: Make sure the tab is located at 45 o or :00 before inserting lock cylinder. 5. Push lock cylinder into the hole until it stops and turn the lock plug assembly clockwise 45 o (or the :00 position) and remove the key. 4 TAB C L 45 o or :00 5 PLASTIC PLUG PLUG RETAINER TAB 45 o :00 Page 11 of 0

Front Removal of Lock Cylinder 1. Turn lock plug to unlocked position with conventional key.. Insert removal tool into lock cylinder.. Rotate lock cylinder assembly slightly in a counter clockwise direction while at the same time pulling on removal tool, thus removing the lock cylinder from the lock assembly. A FRONT REMOVAL LOCK CYLINDER CAN BE IDENTIFIED WITH A SMALL DIMPLE LOCATED DIRECTLY ABOVE THE KEY SLOT DIMPLE LOCATED ON FRONT OF LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL TOOL REMOVAL TOOL 4. At this time the mechanism inside the lock assembly may rotate back to the locked position preventing the installation of new lock plug. If this occurs, insert a flat-bladed screwdriver into the back of lock assembly and turn clockwise unlocking the lock assembly. Insert tool into new lock plug assembly. Hold tool in a horizontal position and insert new lock plug assembly into lock assembly. It may be necessary to hold new plug assembly with finger while removing tool. Rollouts b Removal of Drawers and Non-Shrouded Rollouts from the Suspension 1. Remove screws in the front on both sides of the drawer (1a) or rollout (1b). 1b 1b. Pry out the suspension of the drawer (a) or rollout (b) at the eyebrow. Drawers. Lift drawer or rollout up and out of suspension belt loop. 4. Reverse for re-installation. CAUTION: Screws must be re-installed in drawers and roll-outs. a 1a 1a Page 1 of 0

Removal of a Drawer Suspension NOTE: If the upper unit(s) do not have roll-outs, then it is not necessary to remove the suspensions or the interlock assembly. 1. With a pencil (or non permanent marking method) mark the location of the slide on the case side.. Remove suspension by turning the bottom of the suspension outward so the bottom front tab is disengaged (a). Pull upward so the top front tab is disengaged (b). 1 Removal of Non-Shrouded Offset Suspensions 1. Rotate front hook of suspension toward center of case to disengage.. Pull up to disengage second tab in front.. Pull suspension forward from the suspension hook in the rear of the offset bracket. 4. Remove offset brackets by sliding bracket forward (4a) and rotating out (4b). Installation of a Drawer Suspension 1. Locate rear slide tabs into slots (1a). Pull slide forward (1b). Insert front/top tab into the slot by twisting slide slightly and pushing towards the case side (1c). Pull downward and rotate the bottom/front tab into the lower/front slot (1d). 1a REAR END OF SUSPENSION 1b 1c 1d Page 16 of 0

Top View 1 Installation of Non-Shrouded Offset Suspension OFFSET BRACKET 1. Insert offset brackets by placing tab into slot and rotating sideways (1a) and then pushing sideways (1b).. Install suspension by putting the suspension hook in the rear of the offset bracket. Front Bracket Rear Bracket. Rotate front hook of suspension inward into rectangular slot. 4. 1b Relocating the Interlock Mechanism BACKER Note: If the rollout position is being changed, the interlock must also be relocated. If not, skip this page. 1. Remove interlock mechanism from side. Using fingers (or a screwdriver), pull back tabs (1a). Holding tabs back, remove backer from case side (1b). TAB 1a b (Note that it may be easier to re-install the suspensions first in order to locate the interlock correctly. Instructions forre-installing the suspensions are shown on the previous page(s).) CASE a. For non-shrouded file frames only, remove non-shrouded interlock bracket by removing screw (a) and then lifting bracket up and away from the case side (b). When re-installing bracket, make sure the bracket flange captures the interlock activator attached to the file frame. Also, bracket is attached with a self-drilling screw. Page 18 of 0

Relocating the Interlock Mechanism (continued) 4. Slide interlock mechanism along cable to new position. Install into case side and make sure snaps engage slots. 4. Before re-installing each rollout/drawer, make sure the interlock cam is rotated forward to "the open" position. The cable must be woven throughout the interlock backer (cam assembly) shown. Checking the Interlock Function 1. Check interlock function as shown. Note: Only one rollout will open at a time if mechanism is properly installed.
